I Recently Bought Canon PowerShot SX130 IS Successor or SX120 IS Model for Rs 14900 ($330) in Chennai, India. It has 12.MP res and 12X Optical zoom. Including this there are many Pros like 4x digital zoom, etc. But with many Pros i have this Cons as it is powered with 2XAA batteries (thou' they are rechargeable one) the usage and stand-by time are less and this is what i fear about than new Alkaline Batteries which other cameras use for long time stand by. where ever i go I usually take around max 50 photos and some Videos and my trip ranges from 4hrs to 8hrs. Was by choice positive? What is you Opinion?

I have a canon powershot sd940 IS, and I love it. Its very easy to get a good picture in all kinds of conditions. This camera uses a lithium battery. The kodak camera I owned before this one used 2 AA batteries. the 2 AA batteries lasted way longer then my lithium battery seems to last. If I had to choose I would choose the 2 AA batterys. Not only do they seem to last longer but they also are sold in way more stores and they are cheaper to purchase. We bought a duracell 15 mintue charger, so recharging batteries was super quick, and then I always had 2 sets of batteries so one would always be fully charged.

How much are what? The camera I have is not the one the in the picture in this thread. My camera was 299.99 plus tax. That is a canadian price. However I got it on sale for 199.99 so I saed 100 dollars and was happy with that. Or wait if you were talking about the 15 minute duracel charger is was 29.99 canadian it came with 2 AA and 2AAA batteries. To buy more batteries it costs about 20 dollars for 4 AA, or 4AAA, but sometimes you can catch them on sale for cheaper!
