I am a rare one to say that i don't celebrate my birthday that much. My birthday falls on May 2nd and it is summer holidays in my country. My friends used to celebrate their birthday in school. I never had a chance of it in school and college. I am both happy and sad about it. But i started celebrating my birthday from first year in office and ever since it has been a rocking experience of how we can celebrate our birthday. Birthday bumps, cake pasting on your face, gifts, games on birthday, many of them saying happy birthday and i love that feeling. I am celebrating it for the past 5 years
in the office and I am totally happy about it. Share your thoughts on the enjoyment you get in celebrating your birthday.

I want a quiet birthday. I just usually go to church, thank God for a new birthday. Have a dinner with my family and that's it. I just don't like people knowing my birth day. ;)

Once we had a party themed for 60's/70's and it was super fun. We bought a disco ball and everything and everyone had to dress up.

I think I'm the only one who never celebrates her birthday. Most people around me regard their birthday as a special day and celebrate it every year. I know it feels great to receive others' good wishes on that day, but I just feel nothing about it. In my country, birthday is referred to as "the hardest day of the mother". So I don't want to celebrate the day when my mother suffered a lot when giving birth.
Of course, this is just my personal idea.

Birthdays aren't that big a deal for me anymore. I am 40. So now I just wish that birthdays wouldn't come so fast. We usually just go to dinner.

I also am not a great birthday freak. For me it is easy to say that it is yet another day.But I also realize that people like celebrating birthdays.I would like to celebrate but not in the conventional sense.I do not like partying on my birthday.Instead a nice lunch or dinner with family and friends would be the best way.

It all depends, this year there is only one thing that I want for my birthday. EPIC MICKEY! I want this game so badly. I have been waiting months for this game. This game is AWESOME! EPIC! This is 40+ year of Disney Mickey Mouse history and it's only made for the Wii (to those of you who don't have a Wii, you are all out of luck). This game also comes out on my birthday!

yes, you should give yourself a gift to celebrate what you did in the past. youknow, it is not easy t grow up and have soem success.
when i have my birthday, i often have a good breakfast, with a bowl of noodles and two eggs. as the local tradition. hehe ,it is family gathering to celebrate the birthday.it is a good wishes for one.

first there would be a cake ,but things have changed now, we go out as a family for dine out and well that's it,,i use to get birthday cards when i was younger now it seems i'm the only one who makes them,i guess celebrating a birthday isn't really a big point to celebrate ,it's i time to think of the year that just past, after all time and tide wait for none,it's a loss so great we only realize it when we become old,

I usually celebrate my birthday by going to church, first in the morning and celebrate the occasion with my family..
