Ever heard of synesthesia? It is a neurological state where senses are linked to things in many different ways. For example, letters, text and numbers relate to color or sounds. That a synesthete can hear or taste numbers and or see the alphabet in varied colors or hear different tones for every word they listen to. Another example is one can see orange when they feel pain or anger or listen to sound of a vegetable. It sounds crazy but synesthesia exist and there are only up to four percent people all throughout the world. They can also translate movements or sounds of the surroundings into geometric patterns. Thus, creating forms of art in paintings, music, photography etc. Scientists believe that this state of mixing of senses is seven percent more common with artistic minds. Kandisky is said to be a synesthete. It is interesting and fascinating, a good video to explain this is in youtube, just search for synesthesia.

Sounds a little like esp or extra sensory perception. I don't wanna believe in these things but there are subtle evidences that can prove that they work. Although science can't do more than trace brain activities. I just wish they think of another way of proving these paranormal stuff are true.
