I love reading books, tales of love, devotion, betrayal, adventure, hope, revenge, murder and mayhem, and places of beauty that could only exist in the mind. It's a way of escape sometimes, don't you think so too? I have cried more when I read books than at times I watch movies...for movies are interpretations of the directors while books come to us in our own perception, every hurt, joy, anger, and pure contentment, we experience firsthand, and only a true passionate reader can understand my sentiments...

I absolutely agree with you and although I am a fan of good movies there is nothing like a good book to take me away from my fears and concerns. I just wish that I could make money from reading books.

I love high fantasy... so I love a story that whisks me away on an epic adventure in a whole new world of heroes, villians, myth, and legend! I like all those good vs. evil showdowns! All my favorite books have been stories like these! The ones that really take me away and let my imagination take flight!
I like movies well enough, but in all honesty all a movie can do is hand you images. I don't think that's nearly as much fun.
