It's going to be my very first attempt to ride a plane.

I was pretty young my first plane ride and I remember I was totally and utterly miserable because the changing pressure was MURDER on my ears. I was in terrible pain in the entire ride. You wanna know why babies cry all the time on planes? Cause it hurts their ears, that's why... and since I still remember what it feels like I don't blame them.
So ever since then I haven't liked planes. It no longer hurts my ears cause as you grow older your ears open up and the changing air pressure doesn't effect you too much, but now I'm just plain scared of planes.

You're up 30,000 feet in the air and everyone expects you to be calm and dandy. That's what's wrong. lol

The first time I rode in a plane was so long ago that planes were quite different from the ones we have now. They had different motors so that it tiik over twice to get to a place with many stops to refill the gas. Still it was a wonderful experience. In those times planes had the best food one could imagine, seats were better that first class now and attendants gave us kids games to play (we could keep them later) and took us to see the pilot cabin
Now it is a quicker way to reach faraway places, food is awful, there´s no space to move and you might we waiting hours for the plane to take off. Still it´s the only way to go many places, so we have to accept it.

I rode on a plane the first time over 50 years ago. Everything was different then. But it´s not nesessarilly worse now. Somethings are better, some worse. It has always been like that.

Hi, I was just wondering, how does one ride a plane? Does it buck like a horse or is it a smooth ride like on a motorcycle?
Now when I was a kid I attended boarding school and we used to fly from Zambia to South African every holiday. As a kid I loved flying but a couple of years ago I had another chance to fly locally but did not enjoy the flight. It wasn't that I was nerves or scared but that the seats were so small I could hardly move and I just happen to like a lot of space around me. It seems these days that the planes are putting in more seats so that the spaces get smaller, so much that if the flight attendants are serving drinks you have to wait for the drinks trolley to pass if you want to get up and stretch your legs or go to the loo.
Good luck with your flight, hope you reach your destination safely.

I have never been on a plane before in my life and I do plan on doing so within next next few years hopefully.I do not like the recent security scans at airports and think that some of them are really a large invation of personal privicy.Thank goodness im from Canada as in the states it is much worse with patdowns that are borderlining a criminal level of physical abuse.I think that all the increased security is doing more harm then good and that some of the extra stuff they are doing in just not required to protect us and is done to make them feel they are in power over us.

I remember that first time I took a flight, I was scared out of my wit. I must say I have heights phobia and knowing the fact that the aeroplane will be thousands of metres above ground level, it is enough to make me feeling scared all over. So for the whole flight, my palm is sweaty all over.

The first time I rode on a plane I was only a year old. So I don't remember that. But I do remember the times I rode on a plane when I was nineteen. I really enjoyed it. I wasn't nervous at all. My sister, who had flown much more than I, was actually the nervous one.

First time i rode a plane it was thrilling and exciting. I could see a lot of clouds and the landscape was very beautiful looking at it from high above. Of course there was always the thought of the plane crashing but i got over it pretty quickly.

Riding the airplane for the first time is a very exciting experience. I rode it when I was 5 years old in the 1970s. The take off part sends butterflies to my stomach. But when the plane is stable and gliding up in the air, you won't feel anything. Just enjoy the view from the top! The clouds are magnificent. Catching a sunrise or sunset while on the plane is a sight to behold!
