Running out of creative ideas

I always loved writing stories but there are just those times that I'm bleed dry, with all the thinking I put into making materials for my teaching, and I also have to make up a story for my little goddaughter every week, talk about a cruel task maker. She punishes me with those teary eyes...I just reached the limit tonight when she said she doesn't like animals that talk "its creepy" and asked me why I don't use real people in my stories like her and me or her mommy, to quote "I love listening about myself nana, don't you?
...boom!!I have my idea!!thanks my little princess!!

Well that's awesome! Glad that your cruel little task maker was able to give you a new idea for a change! What story are you going to tell next then? Will you share with us?
I can't really think of a time where I've ever felt creatively bled dry but then again I'm still fairly young and I come up with new ideas all the time. I get a lot of inspiration from reading books and from all my cool dreams that I have at night.

LOL, If I have time I will write my stories here, since they are fairly short, but the only thing is I can't copy paste from my OneNote to here so I have to manually type it again, I don't like typing my stories again though...I tend to change the plot!!

As a writer trying to earn a living doing something I love, I do find that there are times when I just should not try to write as the ideas just won't flow and other times I can't type fast enough to get the ideas out before I lose them. Isn't it funny how that is?

really it is...and often times ironic, because I often get ideas when I don't have anything to write them to, that I just scribble in borrowed note pads^^
