What is the best name you can suggest for a Child?

I don't have a child yet but I have some connected names in mind: Ray and Rayola or Raysa for a girl that can be nicked as Ray. For once cause it has a nice resonance like ray-sun-light. Because it's short and easy to remember for others. Because it sounds good as a child, like lil' Ray-Ray, up to a grown man like Ray Charles. It also sounds good as a loving whisper and as a mad shout. You can go wrong with Ray-Ray :)

Hello calebknox, For me, i find it better to construct name from the names of both parent ( mothers n fathers name) the derivative name must be in the almanac. Subconsciously names has an effect to our whole personality. Well for your question, i like Esperanza for a girl its a hope and a better future. For a boy, its Jacob, masculine but soft to utter. A biblical name and a protector. "Old names" are rarely use now a days.
