I'm loosing my hair!

I went to the doctor recently because my hair was falling out or maybe breaking off. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid. I am taking medication. Has anyone dealt with this before. What can you do? Is there a special conditioner or anything I can use?

no but i dont wash my hair as often. i have been on pills almost a whole year but i also have fibromyalgia. i just keep my hair short so its not as noticable.
