Are you good at interpreting dreams?

Can you interpret dreams? Have you studied dream interpretation? Are you willing to take a crack at mine & my son's dreams? Here's what has happened. I had a dream last night where my son was missing. Police contacted, everyone looking for him. I am walking down an alley, gravel crunching under my feet, no idea where I am going but I have to find my son. I don't remember how long he'd been missing, hours or days, but I am unusually calm. I come to the end of the alley, where a street connects and there on my left, sits a worn out looking small house with a small garage. The garage overhead door is open and there is an empty lawn chair sitting next to another lawn chair, which is occupied by a man I went to high school with. He worked for my father for a little while after high school. And walking around in the driveway is my son. He is 9 but he was wearing a shirt and pull ups. The pull ups looked as though they had been soaked in water, very full looking and they were maroon in color and fuzzy, like fake fur fuzzy. I am so relieved but so angry at the man, because he knows how to get a hold of my parents and I wonder why he never called. I hug my son and ask him why he didn't call me. He says to me he forgot. He is happy and preoccupied. I ask the man why he didn't call me and all he will say to me is this - "your son has two very strong parents. His name is Ercide now. You can't call him Buddha any longer." I get upset because Buddha has been his nickname ever since he was 4 months old. I ask him why and he just repeats what he has said. I wake up. I get my daughter up for school and then it's time to wake up my son. He had gotten into bed with me around 5am, so I shoo him into his room to get dressed. A little while later, I pop into his room to check in on his progress and find him sitting on his bed, crying. Before I even walk all the way into the room, I can see that he is extremely upset. He is shaking. He tells me that last night, he had a dream where he was at school in the cafeteria at lunch time. A fat guy who looked way too old to be in 4th grade was there & saying he was a 4th grader. My son said he thought he was 14. As my son is sitting at a lunch table, his teacher comes up to him and tells him that this new "student" is an orphan and has no one to live with, so my son has to go live with him now. My son asks to call me and tells the teacher no, he's not leaving with this man, but she persists and makes him leave with the man. He is now in Florida with this man and this man is throwing all of his stuffed animals into a corner of one of the rooms in the house. There are books in that room as well. This part, of the man throwing his stuffed animals into a corner, makes my son extremely upset. My son says some of the stuffed animals were octopus and they weren't his. Then he wakes up. He calmed down enough to get dressed, but then started to cry and shake again. He wants me to come to lunch and I agree. He then tells me he wants me to pick him up from school this week. This is odd, because my son lives for riding the bus home, but of course, I agree. This continued for an hour, him getting teary & shaking, so I decided it'd be best if he just stayed home today. I talked to him about the safety methods the school has but I also told him that the best protector was himself and talked to him about things he could have done in his dream situation. I told him that no one can just walk into the school and pick him up, that there is a list of approved family members that all parents have to provide but I also tell him people can make mistakes and he needs to stand up for himself. I wanted to notify his teacher so she could reassure him, but he asked me several times not to, so I didn't. I Googled and found there are only 10 people with the name Ercides in the United States. 5 of them live in Florida. How creepy is this! And no, of course I did NOT tell my son about my own dream!

I have been responding to too many dream discussions on here, and can't keep track of if you were in any of them or not. A t the sound of redundancy, I am recommending a link I may have already given you - if so I apologize. I have been using this site the last few days and keeping rack of my own dream imagery - i is really revealing a lot of info to me about my inner psyche... http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/ I see refernces for Buddah, Chair, Garage (open), stuffed Animal, Maroon can be found on the same site here: http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamthemes/colors.htm Just a quick run through of these few words looks like you might be struggling with a decision you have made to let go of something, or are debating letting go. Almost a conflict with letting someone grow up or take on responsibility. I am not sure, and that is a 2 second guess based on some of the images I read. Spend some time on that site as you have put together a great list of images. I htink you will find some answers.
