Yeah I love eating in the movies, in fact my whole movie experience is never complete without it. I eat whatever my family would like to eat especially the children, the only down side is that it doubles the expense!

That is right, it really doubles the expense, and after the movies, your children might want to go to the mall! ugh!

I usually atleast get a drink and if my daughter goes with me we have to get popcorn. She is a popcornaholic. I usually don't care for the theater popcorn becuase I am sensitive to the salt. You have to get DOTS too! I only get them at the theater. And I like Junior Mints. But only occasionally and usually if the kids are with me.

I seldom eat inside the theater, the theater always only sell popcorns and coke, I don't like these junk food, and their price is much higher than price in other stores.

I eat and drink everytime i watch a movie for me it is like part of the movie because it's not cool just to stay without moving for like 90 minutes, yes you watch a movie but still is better when you do something extra :)

Hi frenzylady, I would like to get some desserts and drinks available somewhere around the theater before stepping in. They might be burgers, or curry puffs or sandwiches, etc. I eat these stuffs inside the theater only if there is not enough time for me to take my meal. I couldn't concentrate on watching my favorite movie if having a hungry stomach
Happy posting

I seldom eat in the cinema because I want to focus on the movie itself. As you know, today the movie ticket is expensive and I don't want to wate the money:) However, if I go to see a movie with my son, then usually I will bring lots of snacks because I want him enjoy watching the movie in the cinema. Because it is not easy for a child to stay quietly in the cinema for a long time.
I love China

I usually don't buy their food in the theater because its just to expensive. What I usually do is by candy from the store its cheaper that way. Its just to expensive for a ticket, popcorn and a drink or candy. The candy I usually will buy is twizzlers or m&m's.

Hello! Yeah I ate a lot inside theaters. I enjoy the movie more when I ate popcorns burgers.. but I buy it in the supermarket not in the store around the theaters because they're so expensive there.

My usual theaters do not carry burgers or fries, but a couple of them do have hotdogs. Of course they all have popcorn, and I only get that if it is freshly popped, not just warmed up. There was one theater in Florida that was actually a restaurant, complete with tableland silverware. Waitresses took your order and served before the movie started.
But I usually don't have anything, and if I get a hotdog most of the time I would consume it before sitting down, or eat most of the popcorn before the movie starts. The only thing I don't mind having during the movie is a drink. And usually if it was a good movie, my drink will be at the halfway mark by the end.

I can't remember the time I went to watch a movie in the theater without bringing in food and eating there. I just love watching movies and eating at the same time. That way, I enjoy the movies more.

Hi,
When I saw your topic,it reminded me for not stepping
to cinema for more than 3 years...it has been so long I never
watch any movies in the cinema,Since the arrival of my son,
I really have no time to enjoy movie again. Everyday is
seem a busy day for me...and time flies so fast.
Last time I used to watch lot of movies in the cinema and I should
say, I am movie maniac. I won't miss out any single movies.
But I hardly grabbed some titbits inside the cinema to eat. Don't have this
kind of habit, the most I will buy some drinks.

Movies in the theater is not fun without popcorns, fries, etc. We always do buy something before going in the theater. Eating while watching a movie is not distracting at all unless the food that you're eating is too noisy every time you crunch or bite into it,then that would be annoying. I think that's why popcorn is a good match with movies because they don't make any noise when you stuff your mouth with it.

I do, too! I agree that sometimes it can be the best thing about watching movies. What I eat depends on where I watch. If I watch movies in the mall, its always either flavored popcorn or flavored fries. And iced coffee or shakes. While watching at home, I love nibbling on chips or popcorn and having soda. Sometimes, when the movies is set around mealtimes, I have a hotdog or a burger.
