It sounds like your circadian rhythms are very messed up and unfortunately that isn't something that is easy to get straightened up. In order to try to start to get your sleeping cycle straightened up, you need to try to resist your urge to sleep during the day. I know that when you start to do this, it will be quite difficult to do. However, as time goes on you will find that you have less desire to sleep during the day and more desire to sleep at night.

You have to control yourself not to take a nap during the day so that when the night time comes, you'll be sleepy. when you feel sleepy, sleep immediately as when it'll pass, it will be difficult for you to get sleep. have a warm milk before sleeping.

Mr. Roger,
It is but obvious that if you sleep during the day time you won't be able to sleep immediately as soon as you go to bed. It not only happens to you but most of the people who sleep in the day time or wake up late in the morning. This usually happens to me in my vacations when I get up late in the morning or take healthy naps in the afternoons. To come back to your normal way, only one day you have to take strain. You will have to get up early in the morning. May be 6 am or even before that. And that day, well goto bed on time. You will get a sound sleep.
One more thing I would like to tell you. It might also happen, that you may get up at 6 am and go to bed at 10 pm and even then you are not able to get a sound sleep immediately when you go to the bed. Any or some of the following may be the reason for the same.
1. You were not at all involved in any kind of physical activity, or the amount you were involved enough to get you body tired.
2. You had a heavy dinner.
3. You had drunk lots of water before you had gone to bed.
4. You were involved in thinking process when you were on the bed.
5. You are in love with someone from last few days.

Stay the whole day without taking a nap and get to sleep in time . Do that couple of days and you will most probably adjust :)
Since i stay up to 4 pass midnight i have some troubles sometimes to adjust my self to new sleeping time but well i lower it every time until i get to 1 or even midnight ;)

Hi, roger:
Few years ago when i was in high school, I had suffered a lot by insomnia which almost me crazy: i couldn't have a sound sleep at night and wake up easily for sudden or small noise; i couldn't pay my attention on studying and take naps during lectures; i even had a headache at that time. My parents were scared and took me to see the doctor, he said that i was stressed out and needed relax. My parents realized that and since then never asked about examination results.
It takes me a long time to conquer insomnia, through which i summarize some tips for your reference: do as munch work as you can during daylight, tried yourself so that you could sleep well in night; don't take strenuous exercise before sleep, that will make you exciting; calm yourself before sleep, try to clean out all thought wondering in your head. Wish you a good sleep.

Self-management is the best answer here. Discipline yourself. Like do not use your cellphone 2 hours before going to bed, don't listen to music if you find sound too disturbing, read a book to feel sleepy etc. Be comfortable in bed.
