Received payout from Globaltestmarket after 25 days with a deduction of $10

I remember that I've requested payout from Globaltestmarket at least 20 days back. Yesterday I got a mail from them with cheque. But I noticed that an amount of approximate $10 was deducted. May be fair, because they made it payobale at part on any branches in India. (So, I won't have to pay the clearance charges.) Just wanted to share with mylotters. (The message I wanted to convey is, it takes around 20 days to get the payout and we don't have to pay any clearance charges.)

1000 market points required to reach payout there. It took me around 1 1/2 years. However, the number of surveys I was getting was really increasing lately. (On an average I would have received around 15 surveys in 2009. But in 2010, I received around 60 surveys, of which I qualified for at least 40+. Not really bad, I just spent 45 minutes or 1 hour a week, and earned $50 in almost a year or little over.) Yes. I am member of some more sites, but I'm afraid they won't pay me. (Recently I have completed a survey with opinionsurveys, but there was no sign of payment. Similarly, IndiaSpeaks is not paying me since February 2009.) I've heard that Opinionsurveys have some connection with GreenFieldOnline. I hear some bad news about GreenFieldOnline, so I just stay away from opinionsurveys too. You can also give a try with surveyhead.com. I've heard that they are offering few surveys to international members too. (I'm not in, though)

I exactly received INR 1969.40. At first sight, I felt little bit disappointed. (I was expecting around INR 2500) But, on seeing that the cheque is payable at par on all branches in India. That's convincing.

I'm glad you got paid, but I'm not so lucky with my latest GTM payment. I've been waiting since August for it. It's very strange as I've been a member of GTM for years and always been paid...I've gotten at least three $50 checks from them in the past. I'm used to checks taking a long time to arrive (your 25 day wait is not so bad in my experience!), but this is very unusual.

That is great news that you've received a check from the site. The site has a great reputation around the world. I think $10 deduction is for the mailing expenses. It is good that there is no clearance charges in bank. I have joined in the site long time back, I haven't checked back since then.

Mine took more than 2 months, but now it's here. They didn't deduct anything of the sum so I suspect I'll have to pay when I cash it out. But this means I'll start taking the surveys again, since I stopped while waiting to see if they paid or not. Must be a bit suspicious and cautios and not waste time on things you don't get money for I think :-)

I received my Globaltest market cheque last week, but there was no deduction. And I had to wait for more than thirty days before I received it. I was kind of worried because they don't allow PO Box for the cheque to be sent, but it is the only way to receive letters here in my country. good thing I didn't had any problems about it.

May be GTM is having different policies for different countries. Or, things might have changed recently. (I receive my payment almost a year back. So there may be any new development.) Just tell me what happens after you deposit the cheque. I deposited the cheque into my bank and there was no fees for clearing it.
