What is Your Worth?

Alright. I don't mean the literal thing here okay. I do not mean as in "How much does someone has to pay to get your everything?" (though you can consider that well, just kidding). Well, what I meant here is how much do people around you value you? How much are they afraid to lose you? What can people sacrifice for you? Or to be with you? Or to have you? I believe that a person's worth is not measured by the material things he/she has. It's also not about how high are you... how much people idolize you... For me, a person's value is measured by how he/she has touched other people's lives... how he/she has contributed to the good of many... how many people cannot live without him/her... how many people live because of him/her... Well, I personally really cannot tell how much my worth is. But I try to show other people now how much I value them. And I know, if people can see how much you treasure them, they too will treasure you. I really want to be someone of high value, not in material things or in physical possessions, but one who others respect and love. How about you? How much are you? What is your worth here in the world?

@Xansus: Hey, don't say that. You still have a long journey to take and things can get any better any time soon. Don't look down on yourself. Try to contemplate on things to make yourself better.

I cant say how much do I worth but as long as I do good for myself, to other people and to my country, i will never feel worthless.

my friends value me as they value themselves. they're happy when i'm happy, console me when i'm sad, cheer me up and offer tissue when i cry, cloth me when i'm naked, feed me when i'm hungry and warm me when i cold. whatever good things you did for others, will comeback to you naturally. :)

It really depends on the perspective that you look at me to be honest with you. My worth tends to really be something that I think personally it is hard to put an actual value on. I know, I might seem a bit arrogant in that statement, but really, can you put a worth on the value of a person? Actually, when you think about it, what is my worth in the grand scheme of the universe? I would have to say that perhaps pretty worthless. After all I am just a speck, one person. Almost like a speck of direct on the tapestry of the universe. To my friends and my family, that might be another matter entirely indeed. I would like to think that my worth would be so much more to them. Then again, if you asked them, there could be varying responses to that question. But such is life and everything. Still I think that to the people I know, I might have a decent worth. It might not be the best in the world but hey it is one of those things that could be worse. Much worse in fact, given some of the people I know, but I digress. Still it is very tricky to put a worth on a person and there are just too many variables to really take into consideration.

Now this one is a very nice question. A friend told me that he couldn't afford to lose me as a friend since i'm giving him the courage to move on every day. He's got some health problems and he couldn't do normal activities like he used to before. He said he couldn't even last a day without talking to me since i can make him laugh and forget his worries even just for a short time. I asked my son what he would do just in case I die in an accident and he said he will follow me in heaven and tell God to bring me back to life.
