I wanna ask again your opinions? In answering interview question "Tell me something about yourself?" Do you need to say your name again b'coz I assume the interviewer knew it already? What Do you say?

Well, u can choose to re-introduce yourself again if u want to, but be sure to make it short.. haha =D Though your particulars and achievements are reflected in the resume, but employers just want to hear it from u, learn how u talk. From there, they will be able to tell what kind of worker u are, and how well u can do in the company.. haha

anyone who is taking your interview..... he/she just want to know your attitude towards yourself....... how u present yourself as a acute person.he/she want to check out are u arrogant or not towards your self? if your introduction about own self makes u arrogant then there is no chance to get a job...... i am just 19 years old so don't take it otherwise...... i am truely sure about it... rest is your decision.

Hi! Well, if this is being asked in a job interview, I believe there is completely no reason to tell the interviewer what your name is unless you are going to say something nice about your name that would help you get the job. I think what the interviewer expects you to answer here is "Tell me something about yourself... (that qualifies you for this job... makes you a good employee for the company... makes you another asset for the company... gives you advantage over to other applicants...)". Well, if you're in a job interview and the interviewer asks you this, I think you should answer the things you know would make them hire you and not just present to them who you are. You should make them see the advantages they would get by hiring you, your good qualities that make you qualified for the job, etc. Of course, what you say in a job interview would have a great impact if the company would hire you or not. I think every question must be answered well and good if you would really want that job. Right? :)
