In the UK we can look forward to an extended May Day Bank Holiday next year.
The Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29th April 2011.
The Royal Family will pay for the wedding, following the precedence set by the marriages of The Prince and Princess of Wales in 1981 and Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 1947.
Naturally this will have a big TV coverage here, will it be televised in your country?

Hiya chem,
With all probability it will yes. Charles and Diana had a huge following here on their Wedding Day everyone stopped off Work to go to the Bars just to see bits of it going on.
I will watch it if it´s on too as Prince William and Harry are my favourites just like Princess Diana was and she still is I have never forgotten her.
The Photos they have taken of the pair of them are very nice and natural too.
Will look forward to that as well. They both deserve the best of luck from my part.

Hiya chem,
It will boost Britain´s economy for sure in many ways. Depending also on where they are going to live and where they stay and eat.
So much could be made from it and they are a worthy pair. I still say I think they will stay together I hope so.
Overall it will be very good for Britain yes on an International Status too. As they will be forever in the News here on and off and People will buy the Magazines where they come out in and so on.
Loads of People loved Princess Diana here loads of ´em.

I am sure it will be televised in the U.S. I know Lady Diana's wedding was and I watched that wedding. I know when William and Kate became "officially" engaged, it was all over the news that day and the next.

I have no doubt that I shall be working- though at least it will be at double pay: unless my company can think of some way to avoid paying it.
