Avernum - single player RPG

Avernum is a turn base RPG for MAC & PC, it's a single player game, but you control four characters, and it is very good it that's your game style. The games (I think they are up to Avernum 6 now) are and update of the Exile series, which is nearly as old as the PC is. They are published by spiderweb software, who have demos for all of them available on their website. Each demo gives access to around 20% of the game, so there is literally hundreds of ours of Free RPG fun. I'd recommend starting with the first in the series, various updates to the user interface as the games are improved means going backwarsd can be quite frustrating If you've never had a go give it a try What did you think?
