The Wasted data is a combination of Discarded Data and Bad Data . The Discarded Data is the Redundant Data that has already been downloaded . Hashfails happen when Bad Data is received and tossed out . Small amounts of Wasted data is normal . It will not affect the quality of the download . If there is a large amount of Wasted , then it is due to the Router mangling the data bits .
