Well, on personal thoughts, I think I have some more of responsibilities once I reached my 10 and 1000 numbers here on MyLot. I am not sure if this is normal for anyone or not but this is what I think.
I feel that my posts have to be more valuable and more in number now. I also feel that my responses should be well researched and better.
Please share your valuable opinions here I would be thankful.
Oh yes, I am also using some Emoticons now
Cheers,
theSids.

Hi thesids!
Congratulations on your milestone. Who could have such a thought than one who is sensitive enough of the social responsibilities in his every response. I have much confidence and I applaud you for such a bold and thought provoking stride. Good luck in your continued endeavor my friend.

Hi tomitomi,
How are you and where had you been? Not frequent here these days! Hope all is fine with you.
I am overwhelmed reading this short but meaningful response from you here. Adds to my happiness and confidence that I am able to input some good things around.
Cheers,
theSids.

I believe it had something to do with your regular work and the Charity that you posted about. Great work, I appreciate your thoughts.

Love you for your remarks here Thanks.
You have been a wonderful friend to me and many others here at mylot. I remember the first interaction with you was on a comment on Alisa's Post where I had placed my comment to your response. And today we are friends :)
Cheers,

Hi Thanks,
yes, I have a firm belief that the bond that we share would definitely grow stronger in the coming days. My plans are to send out some messages(PMs) to a selected set of friends - who have been sharing their views with me and I feel comfortable in their company (and discussions) - and see how they respond to those messages(PMs). I think that would help me know a bit more about them.
And for MyLot - of course, quality posts and responses would be on top of my list.
Alisa had mentioned she would be back for a few days in Nov. but as you see, she is not here and it is already 24th. I too agree that she took the right decision - concentrate on her studies.
Cheers,
theSids.

Hi dear,
It is nice you back on.
Yes, I remember too. I think we had a good tie up and feel it will go more stronger. What are your plans to boost your dignity after the rating of 1000s and above. As you mentioned, concentrate on quality will make the difference.
It seems that Alisha is on her own world of study, and she took the right decision being not divert the mind too much on other activities, which may shorten the time for studies, where it is mostly required to allocate now.
Regards,
Thank-s

you are right Sid...not only after reaching those numbers..but you should be always careful that your posts should be very valuable in the matter and the content should be such that it reflects some standard writing...and not just one or two liners to increase those figures...even if u are after money the bigger and meaningful discussions and responses help...
and yes...i have already seen you putting suspicious emoticon in the response to my discussion...so i have already noted that...but still congrtas
emoticons bring out more ...or you can say add more to your words

Thanks eshaan for your encouraging words here. I would take care to write valuable content and also reflects better writing.
And yes, I put that emoticon - for suspicious - because I dont think that you are a lazy person(and you mentioned that you are lazy).
Cheers,

I do agree, coz, with more posts and the higher our ranking here, we have to provide more useful things for other members here, especially newcomers. Well, you don't need to be stressed because of this, haha. Just do what you normally do, only that you add a little bit more details here and there. That shall do the trick.

Hi Shibham,
I feel honored here by your statement - "be sure i needed you months ago". I too have a similar kind of feeling for you (trust me I saw this one after I posted a comment on your profile - I dont know why it didnt appear on your profile). Good for both of us that we met.
I would try my best to deliver better here and make many great friends.
Cheers,

I don't really feel any more or less responsibility on here regardless of my star or user rating. I think that as long as we are contributing as best we can, then that is all that we can do. I guess that experience does play a part in how we contribute, but experience is not necessarily reflected in the numbers that show next to our user names, especially since there are some "more experienced" myLotters that are "returning users" with different user names and thus have a low user rating and generally a lower star.

Hi purplealabaster,
Yes, I understand your point that there are more experienced users here at Mylot and even returning users. The best we should be always doing is participating and contributing as we are.
Kudos for pointing out the fact that experience is not reflected in the numbers that show next to our usernames.
We should continue with our participation with the same vigor and interest as we did when we were younger here at mylot.
Cheers,
theSids.

You also have a great point about continuing with the same vigor and interest as when we started posting on here. Sometimes it is difficult for more experienced users to keep the same spark and interest over time, especially when they are faced with many duplicate discussions and Guideline violations all over the boards. I do think that we should try to "lead by example" and myLot the way that we would like others to do, so I guess that in a way I do agree with your sentiments even though I don't think it is based on a user rating or star reputation but rather on experience and perhaps a little bit of trial and error ... essentially I think we are both saying the same thing but just using different words to express it.

Maybe you're taking it too seriouslyI say "Chill out"
Just be happy with the reputation and popularity that you have now in mylot. I believe people like us are now considered being "Looked up to" by newbies. but you don't really have to be too much serious about it except following the guidelines.
Of course, topics that already existed should have research and put the source in the discussion. well, emoticons increased earnings of you're post but i forget putting it sometimes

Hi LetranKnight,
Oh. Yes, I might be taking this quite seriously - never realized this aspect here.
I was thinking on similar lines when you mention - being "Looked up to" by newbies.
Guidelines? You mean the TOC? I never have read them anytime anywhere. I feel they are long texts and seem to be boring to me. I have picked up some guidelines here thanks to the People at MyLot who have been having great discussions and telling me and many others what needs to be done. That is how I have gained my knowledge of the TOC.
But yes, I now should have a look at the ones here...
Cheers,
theSids.

Just continue with what you're doing. It's OK to set expectations but make sure those are within attainable limits. Most of all, don't forget to have fun. It's the fun that keeps us all going and makes us continue posting in this site for a long time.

As my number of posts increases here, I also felt the same way. I think the members here deserve to read some quality posts from me as well as some great comments.
When I've reached my minimum payout, I realized that my next objective is to post at least 1000 quality posts. But I am not in a hurry to do since my brain freezes sometimes.
When I'm not sure how to comment on a discussion, I just try to avoid it, but it it's interesting and I couldn't get my mind off of it, I researched to be able to comment something worthwhile.
Have a nice day, friend!

Hi Toni,
You and I have similar thoughts on this one here. I feel that MyLot is like a family and as we grow and mature, there are some expectations from us to which we must stand. I weigh that in terms of quality posts and responses.
Good Luck to you and I am sure you would reach the 1000 posts mark sooner than me. I was not regular quite many a times here, and also have very less posts.
Looking forward to catching you on your threads,
Cheers,
theSids.
