It's getting colder outside, and I don't want to be smoking in the winter. We can't smoke in the house, so it's a good excuse to quit.
But it's not easy, I have tried several times in the past.
This time I am determined to quit for good, I know I'm in for a long journey, but if I stay positive about it, then I will follow through and be done.
One half smoke at a time is the plan, and I will try not to smoke when I'm working. That will be the hardest part, unless I'm so busy that I just don't care to smoke.
I'm sure there are some ex smokers out there who can give me advice, tips and motivation to make this transition as smooth as possible.
I'd appreciate any feedback anyone has to make this a successful venture.

Half smoke at a time is a bad idea.Try chewing gum or candies. But the best idea I can share to you,How to quit?that is in your hand, control your self.

I know exactly what you mean as I am in IL and it gets 30F below zero and way too cold be standing outside even after one puff. I recently purchased the E-cig online. Due to the upcoming holiday you may find them cheaper with good sales.
I have started yet but my goal is to start in December. I wish us both good luck.

I'm also trying to quit. The only advice i can give you is try hitting the gym when you're not doing anything. It works for me. Whenever after i do weight training, the thought of smoking doesn't bother that much. I can easily get out of it, actually.
