If you were going to teach a craft class, what kind of craft would you choose and why? I have tried many different kinds of crafts: Knitting, handmade cards, collages, dolls, origami, decoupage, papercuts etc, but some of those things I have only done for a short period and I am not especially good at them. I have taught friends to knit and to make origami, but if I had the chance to teach a class I would probably choose collages or cards, because I like that a lot.

i would probably do paper mache, i love it and its so easy to do. you can create anything. i love crafts, perhaps i would even do ceramics, or water color. love it but the best part is when you are teaching to someone that has the same passion for it as much as you do, that when magic happens.

I have used paper mache in the past, but that was a long time ago, it could be fun to try it again one day. Yes, it is a great feeling when the other person shares the same passion and when the other person is really interested in the learning new things. When I had creative lessons at school many of the students weren't intersted in the subject at all and simply did the things, because they had to, but when it is your own decision to learn something new you have a different kind of motivation.

I would teach ceramics/clay/pottery because clay is fun and exciting for many people. It's fun how I can make things with it. Sculpt, shape, stamp, cut, mold, press, throw, punch, squeeze, etc are some of the things you can do with clay. It's almost endless and it can also be a place where you can release all your frustrations in life. I'm good at it but it doesn't mean anyone is but it's good to discover things by yourself for yourself. It just feels good.

Some years ago I was taking some classes at a school. Most of the time we focused on theoretical subjects, but sometimes we did some creative activities in the evening. One evening we worked with clay, and we made sculptures out of clay. It was fun and it was nice to try something different, because I don't work with clay that often. Some of the sculptures that the other students made were really beautiful and it was amazing to see how everyone used their creativity in different ways.

You are like me when it comes to crafts. When it comes to crafts, I am Jack of all trades, master of none. I can do all kinds of crafts, I just can't really do any of them at a mastery level where I would feel comfortable to teach. I have tried all kinds of crafts and have an entire "craft room" full of different projects, some completed, some not. I like to have homemade items, so I guess that is why I try so many different things.

It is nice to see you, too It often takes a lot of practice and time to become good at something. I remember when I started painting, that was 5 or 6 years ago, and my first paintings were pretty awful. I was totally inexperienced and made many mistakes, but now it had become easier for me, because I have more experience.

Jewelry making I guess. It is the only craft I was ever really, really good at. And besides, it is really fun!

What kind of jewelry do you make? I made necklaces in the past, but I have done it for a while. Some time ago I was a member of a workshop where we were able to do many different things like sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, jewelry making and card making. Many of the other members made jewelry and they made some very beautiful things. It inspired me to get started again one day.
