Living your dream

"People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it" (from Chicken Soup for the Soul by Jack Canfield). Are you living your dream? If not, then what or who is stopping you? If, yes, then how did you get there?

I can't distinguish dream from reality. How would I know if I'm living the dream?

I can say that I am living my dream..I have a wonderful kid, a loving husband and a good work. Although I know that there is room for improvement, but hey that's not stopping me from enjoying the life that I have right now.

Hello, realaccess. I believe that the most important is not to live the dream. True happiness is pursuing your dreams. Fighting to make it come true. Going after whatever it is that you want. That's when you are happy. I'm not living my dream yet. I'm having a happy life, a really happy one. My girlfriend lives in another state, I cannot move there because I just started the University (and got myself into a public one). I've found a temporary job while the army doesn't set me off (or call me!), which means that I can gather some money to go visit my loved one on January. Anyway, not entering in many details about my personal life, I'm not living my dream yet. I'm building my future. That's what makes me happy right now. I lived my dream when I was there, with my girlfriend, and it was just amazing. Now I'm fighting to get it back, and it is still amazing. So hard, but so good! The true secret is to never give up. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Since im 25 and at this current time i am working two jobs so that of course stops you from dong waht you really wold like to do with life. My dream is so travel and see other way people live and other aspects of the world. I would love to do this one day but of course to do this i need money and first i have to work and pay off bills to be able to do the things i life i would love to do one day. Your life has to come before others at times. paying off credit cards and college loans is the first thing of course to do.

I am not living my dream yet. But I am working towards it every day, and hopefully I can get there at some point. At the moment, it is just boring stuff, such as financial issues, that is stopping me. I am sure it is like that for a lot of people though...
