My Boss' Personal Preference

I have been working in this company for about four months. my first month is good since they welcomed me warmly. im working with all boys working environment. but im used to it since i have men friends. i have two bosses, one in sales (SM) and the other one is in finance (SOM).
the one that im referring here is my boss who's in finance. i was the order processing analyst, and my job is to ensure the sales order form wherein they are properly filled up and then encode the orders in the system. but before encoding them, SOFS must be duly signed by SOM. the cut off of taking the sofs is 9am and ill give it to our SOM to be signed. signing 15 - 25 (at most) order forms will only take for how many minutes, but with him, 45minutes to 1 hour it will take. he's the type of person, who has lots of stations, he goes there and there and sign one or two order forms and then go outside his office and talk to someone and last thing i knew, its already pass 10am and i have not encoded the orders in the system since i also need to submit reports to the main office. luckily, i can encode fast before the time of reports's submission. so that's the first half of my work. the second one is floor stocking(inventory) ensuring that the stocks for tomorrow's delivery are enough and if not ill be allocating them to all the accounts of every salesman. then ill print the so called pre credit to check if every outlets' status is good for their credit line, but this job is for the SOM to check. again, it will take 1 - 2 hours, since he cant settle his butt in his chair. he always go outside, and always chit chat with the boys. another, is the driver of one of the outlet, i heard they always texting. some of my co employees, questioning his preference. although, he's already has a family, a wife and three kids but the way he talks, and treat men is different.
do you also have a boss like this?

Hi!
Okay... so based on what I understand here (I really and absolutely have no idea about those encoding things, etc.), your boss seems to be a "g@y" for you because he spends too much time with the guy workers??? Did I get it right?
Well, you said he already has a family. I think it would be far better for him to be closed with the guys than the girls. I mean, if he is close to the girls (like you) too much, that would create an even bigger issue, right?
I think there are just things that guys want to talk with the guys... but if you think it's pretty beyond the normal guy... well I think it is absolutely beyond your business. Just let him! Maybe he has a hyperactive disorder thing... you know... can't sit still, always want to talk and chit chat...
Anyways, I think it would be better if you just let your boss and never ever talk about this in places or areas where he will be able to know you're talking about this thing about him (like your workplace!). He is still the boss... Some bosses are really hard to deal with (especially if they got this "preference")... LOL..
Just keep your thoughts inside you...

BAnny was right, you still have to pay him the respect ought for him because again HE is still the boss. And Banny's also right about the talking thing? Maybe you could keep it private to yourself, someone told me "if you can't say something good about someone, better not to talk at all"... Just pay him some respect, and if you really got some probz with the way he deals with the job, you can raise the issue to him with utmost respect and courtesy. Always bear in mind he is still the boss. To lessen the stress, just count your blessings, and I guess having that job, is still a blessing! God bless you nereidiane!

My work experience is only for 2 months. I've been there after my on job training. Then after that I stop working for how many months because of my experience. My boss don't like me as simple as that. The pressure is there in making a sales since my job is car agent. We have to release at least one unit in a month. I do my best to make a sale but unfortunately i failed. That is the time range in making a sale in just 2 months then after that your fired.
In my 2 and half months they fired me. But my co-workers who also didn't make a sale are still there. And on their 3rd month they made a sale. I will never forget the treatment of our President and Manager. They treated me like a jerk.
And now Im managing my Herbalife business and Im the boss!
Good day!

hmmm... unlucky for you to have a boss like him.. When you get a chance, talk to him about this matter.
