Henna Artist are all over Cebu City during Sinulog. Since college I have tried one with my friends, I secretly want a permanent tattoo but I know myself, I'll get bored with only one design;)
I love Henna Tattoos it fades as time passes, so I can change the designs I have on in my body and its also pain free! Have you tried one during Sinulog Festivals? Do you love it? Why?

We have the same issues with permanent tattoo. I easily get bored with a design, and I can't seem to settle with just one. On the other hand, I do not want to look like a convict, with tattoos all over. I also have very low pain threshold - can't even look at injections. The last time I had a henna tattoo was during the concert here a few years back. I plan to have one when I go to Boracay soon.

Hi I had visited Cebu in 2004, i am aware of the festival lol
Herw in india, the ladies apply mehandi on palms covering some portion of the wrist, on all festive occassions, during marriage it is a must for the bride and for grooms it is optional!!!!
It is better to avoid the chemical based color that looks like mehandi and applied with rubber stamps..
Thanks for sharing
Cheers.
God bless you, have a nice day ahead.

Henna art design is vast and known in India for centuries and I can say that truly it came from India because of their culture and belief. I do like henna mehendi and I enjoy drawing designs although I don't have time to do that for now because of work.
I do draw henna designs on my own, particularly on the wrist and ankle area or to where I can reach and draw. It fades for a week and it feels cool once I am applying it because of the mint. Here in India, Henna Mehendi is always applied on Hindu weddings and special occasions, as I have said, it is already part of their culture.
Haven't been to Cebu yet but I do know that there are a lot of practicing tattoo artists that applies henna in Manila area especially in malls.
