It isn't that hard to make $10 a month here. You just need to post good quality responses and, if you post discussions, to make sure that you post good quality comments to the responses you get. Good quality is not just about length, though, of course, being descriptive means typing more than just a sentence or two. We aren't supposed to second-guess the earnings system but it certainly helps if your responses and comments get positive ratings (though you should never ask for them). This is where a good circle of friends who take part in your discussions come in. Adding a relevant and appropriate photo to a discussion (and to your responses when you reach 500) can help quite a bit but it's a bit of a pain to do it every time. My first payment was $22 in December '06, about two months after I started here, but that was back in the day. These days I generally make payout every other month.

I know I don't make a lot on mylot. I came accross mylot when looking for ways to earn a few dollars online mylot is fun and I can't wait to get on it everyday. Other people think you have to work really hard to get a dollar and that's not even a lot a day. I would be really proud with 20 cents a day. I love mylot and it's community. It's like I love Triond but the money isn't that good. I don't like Bukisa as much but it pays 3 times better but way harder to get views. It's annoying the way the ones you don't lik it's harder make money on. This was a really fun response and I'm going to get a cent for it. Well it's easy but takes a long time. Oh and to answer your question I haven't been on mylot only a week and have 58 cents so I don't know how long it takes to reach payout but will let you know when I do. Good luck. I haven't yet and I'm looking forward to my first one. I've been responding to a moderate number of discussions, completed some tasks and posted some pictures. So far I know I'm not doing enough to get the $10 in one month but hopefully I'm on track to getting it in a couple.

On mylot, the only way to make money is to keep on posting your replies, and start a new discussion. Although they don't pay much, bit by bit. You have to accumulate them from day by day I guess. I don't make much within a month. If I am lucky, I can make $10 within a month.

It took me around 9 months to reach $10. I usually start discussions and reply to those responses I get from my discussions. I also respond to those discussion that interest me. It took me this long to reach $10 since I sometime don't login in mylot for weeks at a time. There are times when I respond to a lot of discussion in one day depending on the mood I am in. I guess I am really not in it for the money. I enjoy interacting with people here since there are a lot of members here who have great opinions and knowledge that they will share with you.

What I found is that if you are here only for the money then this is not the best place to be. If you are here to enjoy a warm community and learn new things, get answers to your questions and help others then your earnings will increase a lot quicker. Stay and have fun but I will provide a few tips below. * Try and use MyLot search option, at times you can win a reward from 1c to 15c. * Make sure you post at length and share valuable information and not short posts like "I don't know." Respond only to subjects you can contribute to. * Select best answers for your posts and reply to the people that took the time to reply to you. It shows you care. Many people have the idea that joining Mylot will earn themselves a lot of money but then this wasn't the case. Initially, when I first joined Mylot, I also had the wrong idea that I could make lots of money here but after a long period of time, I found that Mylot had a lot of friendly and helpful people and all are willing to help and also lend a listening ear. Well, to me, it's quite easy to earn $10 and you have to give valuable opinions and helpful advices to people and there are also tasks here for you to do if you have the free time or happen to just want to do tasks and no posting. I once used the search bar and Mylot rewarded me with about 10 cents, which I find very good and it motivates me to post more here. Don't worry, with helpful people all around here in this online forum, you'll be able to advance in no time and find a lot of joy posting here and sharing your thoughts!

I have almost reached my payout and I'm about to get it very soon. I am hoping I'll be able to have it for December.

Well, it took me more than a month to earn my first 10 dollars here, I joined in October and reached the minimum payout two weeks ago. I did some tasks, posted discussions and uploaded a few photos as well. Well those are the things that I did while staying here.
