If an alien (little green guy) came to you and asked...

...if you would hide them from the government, would you do it? What if they weren't a little green guy, but someone who looked just like you and me, but they clearly were not 'earthly'? Would you keep it to yourself? Would you promise them and then go back on your promise?
I'll just state for the record right now that if you were to give them away, I think you are a sell-out and I would question your loyalty or truthfulness to me as well... lol.

I'll surrender it to the government cuz first of all, i don't know what it's capable of, and second, it might be a hazard to the environment and to humans. I think it's the wisest thing to do.

LOL! I find it harder to believe we are IT in the universe as far as intelligent life - harder to believe than the existence of other intelligent life, ie ALIENS lol. How would we get to be so lucky to be the only ones? Then we have things like Area 51 and the Bermuda Triangle, and people who have claimed they were abducted or attacked by aliens - and live to tell about it.

Oh, are we serious about this? I don't really believe in aliens. :)

When I was just a child, I was interested in the outspace stuff. So if one day I could really meet an alien, I would try my best to help it. As I know that it is very common the government will try to catch it and then research it. Not everybody welcomes to the aliens. But I have positive thought about aliens.
I love China

I think any alien who visits our planet is much better of bumping into a regular person, not someone high up in government. The average person is less likely to wish them harm, try to prevent them from leaving, alert the police, and alert the media lol.

Hey, I never said I wouldn't run away screaming at first However, if the creature really did need me to help them, and they truly were intelligent, I'm sure they'd figure out a way to stop me from running and screaming, and I don't mean by tying me up with duct tape lol. I'm thinking it would have watched me for awhile, which sounds kinda stalkerish, but it would know what I liked and win me over that way....

That is scary. I would not want to keep something like in my home, you never know what they can do. At the same time, it would be so exciting to be communicating with one. Wow, it could be hard to decide, lol. But i guess i would not keep it in my home. Probably in my garage. You will always need to be careful and watchful about it. It's asking me to hide it from our government, that means it's an intelligent being, and how intelligent ?? We can only guess. Who knows, i could become their lab experiment the next day.

I'm not sure I'd hide it in my home either... but I wouldn't give them up to the government. 'Take me to your leader' can mean most anything lol. People only ASSUME it means take them to the president or king. What if you don't consider that person your leader? LOL! I'd elicit a promise that it wouldn't harm me, my family, or my friends - or anybody who somehow became aware of their presence because I shared it with them... but I'd also keep the list of people who knew SMALL. The more people you tell, the harder it is to keep a secret.

If it would be someone who look exactly like me then i would keep it to myself and not tell anybody and teach IT to do my chores and we can earn double in a day!

If there is something that this green guy promises to bring to my community from outer space, definitely I will have him as a permanent visitor to my home and then make the most of his special skills first for my family, then my community and finally my region and country! It is at the level region that I will make the presence of this green guy known and I would officially declare his presence with his consent-if he says no, I will comply-why would I sell him off?

I make my judgements indpendently, and I weigh the risks and benefits.... and I think it is worse to sell someone out, knowing that they may come to harm because you folded, than it is to be caught hiding something - if you are able to keep it safe.

It doesn't really matter if the person is green, blue, purple, white, brown, black, Hispanic, 'earthly' or not. I would want to know WHY they needed to be hidden from the Government. Don't all non-earthly aliens want to be 'taken to your leader?'
I would certainly promise nothing unless I were fairly sure of the circumstances and the reasons because I always try not to go back on promises. I would naturally consider my loyalties and it is very likely that my loyalty would lie more with my own people and government than with any random 'alien'. If I were a legally settled Mexican in the US (or a legally admitted European in England) and the person in question were an illegal immigrant, I might have a conflict of loyalty between my country of choice and the race of my birth which I would have to resolve somehow.

I'm not talking about illegal immigrants, I'm talking about someone who is not from earth. I don't have loyalties to a government who may want to imprison or experiment on said creature, a la ET, so no, I would not feel 'bound' to sharing what I knew with anybody who might put the creature in danger. I am surprised you didn't consider it from that angle.

no mommybo knowing the farce and cruel exploitation of anything different I sure would not turn in this person from another planet
just because they were different, they had trusted me enough to
come to me so I would hide him or her and not give them away at
all. I would know they were pretty smart or they wou d not have got here witho being caught anyway.

Sure I will hide him! He'll be like a pet that I could play with. I could teach him some tricks and entertain my family. Of course this is just a small price to pay for not turning him in.
Or he could teach me some tricks too, which I could use to my advantage... financially!

Guess I'd help out, just for the pleasure of cheating the government a bit. Not sure if I could help, though, if I knew of a way to hide from governments I would do it myself.
On the other hand, I'd probably have to pressure the green guy into telling me why he wants to hide. I mean, he came all the way here, I assume he wants to talk to somebody with some influence, not just hide away in a basement... if his intentions are good, that is.

To me it would be clear why he wanted to hide, if an alien race came to our planet KNOWING how we are, you'd think they'd be rightly scared of MOST of us lol. You know what is said about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer? I'm sure they are more suspicious of that than we are.
Right.... they may have BAD intentions... what if they have the ability to compell us to hide them? eeek.

Before I decide what to do,I will make out the green guy's purpose. Why he come to the earht? What dose he want? Why he or she needs to hide the government?
If there have no bad things,I think I'll help him.To be honestly,I think it would be fun if I really meet an alien.

if i gave a lil green guy my word that i would not sell them out then i am going to keep my word. I am with you. your word in your bond and rather you tell a alien or a friend that you will keep you word on something then you need to do just that.

It will really be a surprise I guess. But if for an unfortunate incident that somehow an alien asked me that question, I would keep them for awhile and think about the consequences it will bring to me and my family and then I would do something right after that. ;)

If he makes a lot of trouble, I'll have to think twice on whether to notify the government. On the other hand, if he has lots of abilities and is a brain child alien, I would help him with life and enjoy the benefits of having him. Of course, I will have to pave the foundations for him to live great, then afterwords he will help me to make money and be prosperous. After the setting up and well being are done for this Alien, I will buy a new house which has 45 acres of land and a house that equals 1 acre in space. For the 33 acres to the back of the house, I will create some Gazebos, Tented and fully furnished equipment, Treadmill and a library where he can study English. This will take lots of work, but I hope it is successful.
