I have been a Favre fan since he has been with Southern Miss. His home is about 45 minutes from where I live. In the small community of Kiln,Miss. he has a following out of this world. With his age and injuries that he has I think he would be better fitted with his current team as a coach. The Vikings with a new head coach need to bench him and buthis talent onthe sideline helping the quarterback of the future learn from him and be tutored by him while he is still around. What benefit to the team is a conscecutive start record? This season is gone moveforward for the future!

Amen! I'm with ya on that one. I thought for sure he would have done better this year considering what was done last year but he's proven to be a flop and just can't hold it anymore. He just needs to call it quits and retire but hey your right he's been one of the best.

I totaly agree! Favre needs to be benched and I hope sooner or later Leslie Frazier does so! If he doesn't soon Favre will cause even more damage! Favre had a very good year last year and this year he sucks! The whole team sucks! Favre should just retire now and get it over with!
I am a Green Bay Packer fan. I was a Brett Favre fan until he decided to come out of retirement in 2007 and never disgusted it with the Packer organization! He told everyone else though! What a jerk he turnd into!
We trade him to the NY Jets and after one sesaon he pulls the same stunt again! Then he signs with the Vikings which he wanted to be traded to the season before! Then this season they had to drag him back to Minnesota because he didn't want to make the decsion himself! I am so sick of this soap opera!
Then wew can't forget the testing/sexting scandel that is still being investagated! I am sure Favre did all the stuff the woman said he did! Favre looks like a scum bag everyday!

I think it's time he should retire but he probably won't. I believe his pride will get in the way. I believe he will play the rest of the season. Until he doesn't play, I have to continue to believe. I do think it is time to go for a new direction for the greater good.

I agree with you. Farve was great and now his good at times. With all that talent there at Minnesota the Vikings should be playoff bound. They have a great receiving crew and and beast with Peterson at RB. They just don't have a winning record to show for it. Farve should just stay retired or try a backup role. The Minnesota Vikings really need a young QB to get in there learn the offense and succeed. But with Farve in the way, they will continue to be an average team.
