Suggestion to start my own IT company

IT, the magic word that lured so many bright students into a totally useless career. You wont agree with me, but it's true! There are thousands of so called computer experts in every country. That is thousands of unemployed or disillusioned people, all trying to make something out of a bad decision. So you want to be a boss! Good luck and don't let me put you down. You have to think about today's world because no one can predict what computers may be like tomorrow. As I see it, cross platform porting is a fairly lucrative area. Being the boss means that you hire other people to do the work for you. Offer work on commission basis and you wont even have to pay them, unless they really turn up trumps. Steal their ideas, and you'll soon be another Microsoft! That's how the software business works!

Hi Stonefish!. I think if you wanna start your own business it will great to have something you had passion on it. I really wanna to start my own business but I don't have enough money to make it. I think most IT company are making software and many of it success in making money from it. Maybe you can made program thats are easy to use and help to make certain job more easier.

Hi, I appreciate your idea of becoming an employer rather than to remain as an employee. Now if you want to be the head of the company you should also have many skills other than technical skills. Because this is business you have to earn your monthly pay and you need to create it. To become an entrepreneur you should have the "Never give up" attitude. That is more important. You need to market yourself, your company and your products. If you are well at these things too with your technical skills then go ahead otherwise make a person as your partner who is good at these. My suggestion is first try projects with online sites where you get small projects to handle with, later you start up setting up your own company. Own is the word which all entrepreneurs love. You should think what you want to do specifically. Like if do you want to create software for clients? If that so you need someone to market your products and meet up some clients because I think that is the hardest part which is to market your products. And also you need to have an accounting department to process money and then hr people for those who would want to contact your company and then you need of course the IT people that would work for you. It's difficult to have an IT company but if you're sincere and determined then go for it. Good luck with you though. You have to learn a lot if your gonna be the boss.

IT or information technology is broad. I suggest that you must have expert people to the following areas: hardware, software, and peopleware. You a team that are really interested in IT. Their heart belong to IT so that motivations and innovations start with these people.
