Would you marry yourself?

In a bizarre article (http://trawlthenet.blogspot.com), there is this Taiwanese girl who decided to marry herself after failing to find a boyfriend. I wonder how could the authorities approve such marriage.
If you are in her situation, would you marry yourself?

I don't believe in marriage but I respect people who do. But to marry one's self? That's ridiculous and an insult to those people who believe in marriage. If this is true, I'd say that girl just wanted to get some attention and her 15 minutes of fame, but that was just pathetic.

Haha I can only wonder how she'd consummate the marriage. And no, I wouldn't marry myself because then I wouldn't be straight.

My answer will be no. I think if the girl truly want to marry herself, she does not need to have a certification for that. She can just be single for the rest of her life. Then she marries to herself in a true sense.
I think her trying to get some certification is mainly an act hoping to arouse attention in which she may have some other chance to get a good boyfriend.

i never thought about that really. marry myself? i wouldnt do that. i want marry a guy not myself. actually thats a very sad thing to marry ourselves. poor girl i guess that she was really desperate and sad thinking that no guy would want her. but thats too silly. she should had look for a guy or just wait a bit more. but if couldnt wait more she could had look for a guy but marry herself? thats a nonsense sorry.
