Training a cat?

I got three kittens not too long ago. They are the sweetest things and all so cute. One of them seems too be very attracted to human food though. He will eat right off your plate and this is so unacceptable. We have got him to calm down with it a lot, and he seems to understand "no" now. The spray bottle method has helped a lot. He still will eat right off your plate if no one is around. I do not know what to do about it if I am not there to stop him. Any suggestions?

Even trained dogs will usually eat off a plate if no one is there to watch it and tell them "no."
If you were hungry, and someone told you not to eat that candy...then they just left, and you didn't think they were coming back, wouldn't you take maybe one piece? lol.
Our cats will jump right down if we say "no" and one of my cats will sit up and beg like a dog for a scrap! But if we leave a plate unattended it's kind of fair game.
I'm thinking you should be very careful about what you leave out, and keeping saying "no" and using the spray bottle.

I have to admit: Cats are smart. I believe that it is possible to train your cat, but it is very hard to. You often don't see people with trained cats. They sort of just roam around the house and do whatever they like. Here is an article link. I did a little searching online and came across this. This is not any referal site: CATANDKITTEN.TK
