Ive been having scary dreams lately two nights in a row. The first dream: Im in bed, hubby wakes me up to tell me theres a man in the other room and we need to hide. I try to think WHERE we can hide and not be found......I wake up. Second dream: Im in bed but its as if Im living in our previous house. Im sleeping facing the window. The curtains are open so I can see outside and the outside is where I live now. I then notice a man with a camera on the top of the building behind our backyard. I can see his face and as soon as I open my eyes, he smiles because he knows I just saw him taking pictures of me. He then runs off and soon after, we learn he set fire to the building. Now in real life, I cant see that building because its way too far and I certainly couldnt see someone's face if anyone was standing on the roof. Also, my curtains are always closed, so nobody can see inside. Im wondering if it means that a fire will start or someone is watching???

Hello Magical Bubbles, I read really interesting book about the dreams and how they are the voice of our soul. The writer is a russian, who were astrophysicist in the past, then started to study the laws of the psychology and this is how he used his experience from the past in the psychology. I think that our dreams are bad if we are in a bad moment in our life. If we are worried about something, if we have some problems and we are searching way to deal with it, if we think negative like we won't be able to handle something. Lately i dream bad dreams too. Pretty strange, i'm somewhere, never knowing where. With people i can't recognize. As a teen i had really bad dreams, i can't call them nightmares, but nothing had color in my dreams, only strange people, only windy weather, with grey color and strange faces. I think it was a bad time of my life, when i just had too much problems. And also i've always been sensitive person, so that bad moments were "great" for my soul to build strange pictures in my dreams. I think that you got something in mind but you don't know how to deal with it. May be if you share it with someone that will help you to continue your own thinking in a positive way and this nightmares will go away?

You're right, Im going through something new and not sure how to handle it all. My husband just retired and although Im really happy about it (truly I am) I think he's not happy because he worries about money. Im trying to calm him down. Im not sure how it all relates to the dreams I had though. I'll try to find the answer. Thanks!!

Sorry that i answer now, after so long time, but around 20 responses a day and i loose some of them in the past pages, when i check "responded". If you are a person just like me, who never show how nerve and worried is, that's normal to effect your dreams, believe me. In the most serious problems, when my boyfriend nearly give up, i'm trying to smile and to look for positive dealing with the problems. I never show how nerve and how worried am i, until one moment, when everything is so much for me, that i start crying or start with really bad mood before crying. May be if you share with your husband that you are happy that he is staying at home and you will be able to spend more time together, you will be able to do more things together, it will help? I hope that before the present moment, everything is gone, with your worries and your problems and i hope that you have nice dreams.

Hi. MagicalBubbles. That is a very scary dream to dream about! I just think that you should stay on alert at all times. Dreaming this dream may be a way of your consciousness telling you to not let your guard down as easily. I hope that no one is really watching you. I believe that you should say a prayer everyday that God will protect you and your husband from any unseen or outside danger.

Hi Cream. I wish I knew what it really means. If someone IS watching, well Id like to know where he's hiding. Im always being careful and I do pray every night before bed. Thanks and bless you!

I think dreams are more about how you feel about what is happening in the dream than what is going on in the dream. Were you afraid, worried, feeling lack of privacy, or just interested in what was going to happen next. Your first dream sounds like a stress dream, when you have large problems and can't get away from them.

Im the type of person who's afraid of nearly everything (bugs, hospitals, doctors, pain, etc lol) As for lack of privacy....mmmm yes that could be as hubby retired not long ago, but I dont feel like I dont have any "me" space though. But maybe HE feels like he doesnt have his own place. I'll have a look at this and make sure he has HIS garage to himself lol. Thanks!!

I hate when I have a bad dream. I end up reading too much into them and drive myself crazy worrying if they are going to come true or not. Maybe you watched a scary movie, or a movie about someone getting robbed before you went to sleep.

I know what you mean GD. I dont remember watching or eating anything out of the ordinary but I got an email this morning from the city and they forecast heavy rain and maybe floods!!! So that man I saw on the roof of the building....I can only hope it wont come true as it would mean a LOT OF WATER would fall down on us this evening. I'll have a lot of getting ready to do when Im done working. I am driving myself insane right now and so stressed out right now. You're right, maybe I see too much in my dreams. Breathe in, breathe out Im thinking now LOL. Thanks!!

I have had dreams like that.Well not exactly like that. But I have dreams where im on a cliff or a building and the next thing i know i step off the edge of the cliff or building but just as i do i wake up and im just rolling over.I am scared of heights so i dont know why i would ever be on top of a cliff or building.Im scared of being watched same as you.So my advice would be dont put too much stock into the dreams but keep alert.

Yikes, must be scary to know you step off a cliff or building and wake up just as you do. I try not to make too much of the dreams. "TRY" is the key word here lol. Thanks!

Maybe it means that those are the things you're afraid of: someone breaking into your housr while you sleep and someone watching you without you knowing it. Of course that's just my opinion.

Maybe you just are processing some things and you are trying to be alert about them. I always find that I also have really strange dreams when I have eaten some unusual foods. What I have read other places is that dreams are not usually factual, but are more likely to be representational of other issues in your life.
