There is an article about Five hints for the parents or guardians to prevent their children from abusing the drugs.
Hint 1: We should seriously look into our children living pressure and provide the
necessary assistance to them.
Hint 2: We must understand the time when our children are boring and provide the
necessary assistance to them.
Hint 3: Restrict and monitor the children expenses.
Minimize the given pocket money to our children.
Hint 4: We must try to know all of our children friends.
Hint 5: We should join in our children living circle, assist our children in their
home works, participate our children activities and discuss about the problems
of abusing drugs with our children.
Do you think the above 5 hints will be good enough for us to approach our children in preventing the abuse of drugs?

Nice posts! A lot will benefit from it. For me 2 and 5 are the most important hints among them. In addition to that, children should be accompanied most of the time and not to be left alone at home. As much as possible parents should be available all the time especially when they needed someone to talk to. Also sometimes, parents should be like friends with their children as to remove pressures that could have been built a wall between them and pushed their children away from them.

Traditionally, the family likes to reserve a gap in between the parents and their children.
Nowadays, the parents like to treat their children as friends. The intention is good for the parents to share, to understand and to assist their children in resolving any arisen problem.
