I have this friend of mine who always keep on sending text messages which causes my phone memory box full. All her forwarded text i like and i don't like deleting it. But,I cannot accept incoming text anymore due to phone memory is full. So, what i did is posting it here so i can still read it.

Hi friend,
now am having exactly 1021 sms in my pinne inbox and 332 messages in the send box. When my phone memory gets full i use to delete messages by marking all and delete around 300 or 350 messages. I can't do one by one because, if i open the messages i cant delete it,as there are very nice messages from my friends.
I use to chat with sms but use to delete the chat messages on the next moment itself.
I don't send more forward messages to my friends.just a good good morning or good night messages once in a day to all my friends, just to wish them a good morning or good night.
Good Topic Friend.

oh! nice that you have no double mind in deleting you phone stored messages. If i have that thousand messages, maybe I maybe having headache reading each received text. I hope there will be that in just one send to your email account, your phone inbox is empty. At least you have not deleted your like text messages from your phone. If you like reading them, you just have to open you email inbox. Email inbox can save up to 10Mb. Thank you for sharing my friend. God bless you.

I sit and I keep all of my messages in my inbox on my phone. Yes I do store them until my inbox states that it is full. Although one thing that I have learned is that you can forward the texts that you want to keep into your email account. All you have to do is when you get the message that you want to keep all you have to do is select forward. Then when it ask to forward to who simply put in your email address. Now once you've sent it you want to wait for a few minutes and then check you email account. Now sometimes I have to resend it a couple of times to make sure it got to my email account, but that is one way you can keep the messages that you want and as well keep your inbox on your phone from being full.

i used to. when i had my old nokia e51, i could store all the messages that i want. but when i bought my samsung phone, i couldn't anymore because it has a text message limit. so now, i only store the ones that i really, really like.
by the way, those texts are pretty nice. it's good that you have thought to keep them in here. :)

Yeah, it's really good to save messages you like. But sometimes it came to time that even your like messages you delete it because of incoming traffic of new messages. Hope to have flash drive to save them directly and then have it uploaded here. Thank you for sharing your time. God bless.

Yeah, but me, when I need the memory space, I just erase the messages that I least like. It's just that even when I store it somewhere like in here, I never get around to reading it. So I just take the lesson that I learn from that message then erase it.

You know if there is a kind of message that i really like i'll never deleted it and i want it to store at my inbox but the problem was it make full. I usually stored messages but nowadays i better to delete them all. I have read them already and i know what is in the message so prefer not to store it. It will make an inbox full and you cannot make anothr message and sent also. What i did is i write it in my notebook. So when i need to look and read again easy to find.

Before i used collecting text messages and have it write on notebook too.Sometimes i do writing it even to my books. While reading the books, it reminds me of the one sending me and being encourage of what the person has sent because i wrote even the name of person sending except the person i like most.If only you don't like deleting some, incoming text get junk or not received so i have to delete sometimes even those very likely messages. Thank you for sharing my friend. Have a nice day ahead. God bless.

I used to save messages in my inbox. I would save random texts from my friends, changes in my class schedule forwarded by our president, or even quotes. It was fun reading the randomness of my friends when I'm waiting in line or stuck in traffic so I never thought of deleting them. HOWEVER when I was stressed at work and I was deleting messages from my BOSS, I accidentally pressed "Delete all messages" and *poof* went 3years worth of saved messages.
These days, I barely save messages. When I have time, I delete my most recent messages.

I usually delete the unnecessary messages in my cell phone when I'm on a bus or waiting in the restaurant to kill the waiting time. for some important messages, I put them into the saved box, then it', easier for me to find them again.

My phone memory has the capacity to store more than 4000 text messages, but i will not store more than 1500 text messages, as it could slow the applications of the mobile.
I just delete the text messages once in a month by marking the unwanted messages and deleting it in a stretch.
The messages from your friend is really good and there are many friends for e, who keep on sending messages like this for me, but u have to decide, just keep some messages and delete some.

My blackberry can hold countless messages and I can tell you I have messages in there for almost two years. Two days ago I started to go through some of the old ones and delete any redundant and or unnecessary messages.
But there are way too many and so I gave up and well will keep just leaving them there for ever I suppose. I do not find my messages bonging down my phone in anyway so I do not need to delete them unless I really want to.

I don't like to save messages from my phone, it slows it down. Maybe I save important one but not more than 10 messages. I don't like to forward messages either, I'm not a cellphone person so most of the time my cellphone is just used to communicate importantly . No wonder there are days where I don't get any single text messages from anybody..haha..
By the way, full inbox also causes messages to fail from entering your cellphone at all.

Me too don't text much but i keep text messages especially text that encourages me. I like to forward it also to my other friends but it seems that i no enough money load for it. Yes, phone is indeed slowing down and new incoming messages can't enter that is why sometimes I delete after i posted to here or writing it to my notebook. Thanks for sharing my friend. Have a nice day ahead.

I don't have the habit of keeping all the messages in in-box. I always delete the unwanted messages immediately. If i receive some meaningful messages I always try to keep them in my phone in-box. I also have the habit of reading these kinds of messages again and again.

Hi,
I do get many messages from friends apart from professional messages, But I read them and delete them immediately to facilitate my inbox to receive new messages. As i receive messages from my clients and those are important to me. Some interesting messages I keep them in drafts of folders and some I forward them to my wife's mobile.
It is always better to delete unnecessary messages in your phone.
Happy messaging

Yes I've kept about thousands of text messages in my cell phone inbox. But after a while, lots of friends and family noticed, and this made me delete them all. I feel like it is a record system, whereas they all believe it is not safe. Some people are telling me that full cell inboxes will lead to broken sim cards and lost contacts. I think this is all to scare me, but I'll have to take more care of my phone either way.

My friend does the same thing. She has trouble deleting text messages and voice mail messages on her phone. Some could be as simple as someone saying Merry Christmas and it will still be there months later. Plus she saves all the forwards she gets that she likes. I'm forever kidnapping her phone and deleting stuff so that she can get new messages. I'm the opposite with my phone. I don't like to leave any messages in my inbox. At the end of the day I delete everything out of it. I don't get many forwards to my phone. I warned everyone that I only get so many texts a month so not to waste them on forwards.

I don't warn friends from sending. I only tell them not to expect any reply from me except important and urgent one. Thank you for sharing my friend. Have a nice day.

Those are really great messages worth sharing. Well, in my case, I often delete messages since I receive a lot of message everyday. Often, I delete messages when I do not need them anymore or when I have already taken down some important details of the message to keep my inbox as clear as possible.

I don't get all that many messages, so I don't have that to worry about, but I do keep my phone clean, as I periodically empty out the calls that were made and received. If I don't it just fills up to much, so I would say every few days, I need to delete them. I have 1gig of memory with a 16gig sd card. that isn't a lot of memory, but it is a start, and if I keep my phone cleaned out, I won't have to worry about using up all my memory. Take care, and have a very good day.

Yes, i keep forwarded text messages on my phone, especially those that I really like. I dont have the same problem as you though because only few of my friends send forwarded messages and they dont send a lot. But if I do have a full inbox, I erase the corny ones and and those that I havent sent yet.
