It is hot. Usually at this time of the year, the weather is cool. Even if it's noon, it's not that hot. But now, it feels like summer is about to end. It's still hot, but not as hot as summer, and mind you, this years summer was so hot that unlit candles bend or slightly melts (Base wider, top smaller or shorter).

Here in NY we are experiencing really cold weather, but since the buildings and houses are equipped with floor warmers and air heaters it seems really cozy. Also, during days of snow, I usually drink hot cocoa and a couple of cookies. But, when the summer weather strikes, there is completely hot air with little to no humidity. I spend this time making one grand in dollars by businesses in NYC. All together, with the uses of hot and cold weather, I make about 20,000 extra dollars an year helping people in warm and cold weather. My job is something else, but weather helps me make money as well.

yeah, it's getting hotter and it's a really alarming sign. global warming is becoming a major threat day by day with the melting of ice around the poles and rising sea level which in turn is threatening the existence of low-lying areas. many big cities are endangered. i really hate hot weather and i can't bear the heat in most places in a country like india. i hail from the cool and hilly northeast region and so the heat irritates me. even it's getting hotter in our place and i dread it. we take pride in our pleasant weather but that's changing day by day. still it's much better from the rest of the country. we can bear the summer without fan or any other cooling means which is quite impossible elsewhere in the country. but global warming is a serious threat and there's no sign of decreasing. God help us!

and the messed up part is i spent over a decade in those hot places, including a seven year stint at a boarding school at a place which i'm sure is one of the hottest on earth. the average summer temperature at that place is over 40 degrees celcius and at one point in 1999 it reached 49 degrees during its peak at a time when the daily average was around 45 degrees. we couldn't go out during most part of the day and school was even conducted in the morning with reduced classes for the last one week prior to our summer vacation. it was such a hot place, whew! had to spend seven years there. the worst affected where we students from the northeast who suffered bleeding from the nose frequently heat due to the intense heat. i don't how it is now but i'm sure it has gone worse like any other place.

Hello Gengeni,
i don't like hot weather at all. That weather makes me exhausted and i hate that feeling. Like i've done something really hard, but actually i've done nothing to feel that way. When it's hot here, i stay at home or somewhere, where the temperature is cold enough - in a coffee shop with climatic as example.
Here, in Bulgaria, we expect really bad winter. News say that it will be around - 30 degrees in whole Europe in the winter, so for us it's pretty cold and i am not sure we will handle it. We had the same temperatures when this year started, there was snow in february, at the same time, when it was new year time, the temperatures was +28 degrees. There is something wrong in that weather. It's not normal the winter to become autumn and the spring to become winter. You to have snow when the spring is knocking on your door. I mean it's that way for my country, because it has never been that way before. If that temperatures changes are normal for some country, it's o.k., but we are used to be that way.

In a tropical humid country like mine, it's always hot most of the days and I just have to turn the air conditioner at home to feel cool. I would wake up early and go to the garden or take a walk at night when it's a bit cooler. If I have enough time for the day or weekends, we hit the beach or the pool and enjoy the cool water. A nice cold iced tea is what I like to drink and a mango shake.

The earth surely is getting hotter and I can tell you, a hot environment is not good for anybody-a cold drink in a hot day is probably a good thing, cold and iced drink I mean!

After reading this title, I thought it was about some hot chick :D
Anyways, I am used to hot temperatures cos I live in Chennai(Hottest city in Tamil Nadu, India). And the reason is, there are no hot chicks here to make this City any hotter. :P

Here are my answers.
1. Yes i feel that the earth is getting hotter everyday, especially when i live in a tropical country and i'm sure you do too since you experience such a thing.
2. No i do not like hot temperatures. The times i do like such temperature is when i'm sick and i feel that cold really kills me more, then i go for a warm atmosphere.
3. I always try not to work or move much as i easily sweat and it really irritates me and another thing i do is i try to go to a colder location, or some place that has air conditioning like a mall.
4. Ice tea would be a nice thing to drink. Water is best though but for me i try not to drink as much because like i said, i sweat easily so it goes with the amount of water i drink.
;D

yes it is getting hotter. fortunately for me, it's the "ber" months already so it's cooler than sunny season. we don't have summer here in the Philippines... it's just Sunny and Rainy seasons... i'm wondering where we pinoys got this absurd idea that we have Summer... we'd have to have Winter, Autumn etc. too if that's the case. pfft... anyway, i hate it when my body gets all sticky and all. what i do is go out, get a pitcher of ice cold water and read under the shade of a tree. we don't have a air-conditioner at home coz we're very poor.
