How was your Christmas last year? What would you do to make it better this year? Last year mine was a bit dry.  Though we had fun, I thought it had something missing.  Perhaps it was because I was worried too much due to lack of funds because of bad investment and poor savings habit.  I spent literally everything I had, not because I went splurging, but because I just couldn't make ends meet. This year I hope to be able to avoid such problems by no longer giving too much presents to people who wouldn't care at all.  I would no longer be mrs. Claus this year. Instead, I would splurge on fun and games for the whole family. I think people would understand if I'd be a little frugal on the gifts, right? After all, economy hasn't been Bette yet. What about your holidays?

I guess that's true, however, a little effort of getting together the family members would be nice. Someone just has to have the courage to bring it all together.

That's just great! I do hope you'll have one once again this year! It's really nice that families in our country (Philippines) value togetherness during Christmas season. I am proud to be a Filipino with all the festivities and fun games we do during Christmas and New Years! Hhehe.. Right now we're planning out what games we're going to play and what jokes and pranks we're going to put on our Christmas celebration.

Last year's Xmas has been fine. Its just that we did not spend it in our home but there in noisy Manila. We basically visited a house, watched cable TV, ate our special lunch, went home and there's Christmas. The fun part is their pet dog and a sexy gal. It was no extravagant celebration of Jesus' birth but sure a lukewarm day for me. Fireworks were breaking and the weathers sunny with a pollution silencing the brightness. I also remember some jokes that were told, acts of gift giving most of them in the form of money.

So where do you plan to spend it this year?

Christmas last year was really a desperate situation for me, because I had no job. But things have gradually changed and I'm employed for a fortune 500 company and make lots of dollars. I would say that my mental state is far better now, and that I get to save and spend more nowadays. Wish I could help people that were needy and am thinking about giving a small portion to charity. This year I will buy only a few gifts, but they will cost a very dear amount.

Money does play a huge role in Christmas and any holidays. I don't mean we can't have a great Christmas without money, but we all know that not having a job is 'limiting'. It's good that you have many blessings this year, and hopefully you would be able to give some to those who are less fortunate. :)
