Hi all cat lovers! Is your cat left-handed or right-handed? Are you left/right-handed? Usually cats take after their owners...I stumbled upon this and wants to ask the cat loving myLotters out here to tell me if this is true...so please look at your cats,) The amazing thing is if the cat doesn't have an owner they are ambidextrous...the article said...hmmn, I'm going to investigate this..

How in the world would you be able to tell if your cat is right handed or left handed or ambidextrous? That is really amazing if researches are able to tell that. I dont see how I could figure that out though because my cat cannot write lol. Where did you hear this information?

LOL, I just found it on my brother's notebook, he has a lot of clipped articles and I was intrigued by it and wanted to ask you myLotters to confirm or deny the article...I'll try and ask him later when he arrives from school where he got the article....I guess I should have written "left/right/ambidextrous pawed" for the title^^

I've always noticed that most cats are more apt to hit with their left paw. In fact, I have one big cat who tend to go after the other cats only with the one paw and because Oliver and Rygel tend to use both paws, they actually tend to win in tussles with him. Oliver, in fact, ends to crouch low and go for the throat, and only Booboo's size and weight tend to keep Oliver from knocking him over.

Sometimes I wish I was ambidextrous. My daughter was and my mom taught her to be right handed feeling it would be easier for her. I think that cats are ambidextrous. What they are demanded to do on a basis of that only. Unlike humans who are socially motivated. Poor things! Hehe

LOL, try to observe which front paw your cat uses most of the time...e.i playing with the yarn, scratching, etc...
