One Korean skin expert said that we should avoid using soap and cotton on our skin. Soap can dry out our skin and can cause irritation. To clean our face, we should avoid using cotton because the fiber left behind can irritate our pores and enlarged it. She advised using cleansing oil with our index finger. Rub your face very slightly with the oil using your index finger to remove the dirt, then wet your face just a little and continue rubbing the face. The oil will turn into a white substance. Then remove the oil with warm water. This is the perfect way to remove irritants and dirt in our skin that can cause acne or blackheads and whiteheads. It also helps to avoid getting wrinkles and larger pores.

Have not heard oil cleansing either , but I am one of the proponents of eating healthy to stay healthy and that includes the skin. In order for the skin to remain glowing and radiant for a long time is to eat a diet of healthy fruits, vegetables and nuts and drinking plenty of water. What good would wiping, soaping ,cleaning ,scrubbing, oiling our skin if we continue to eat foods that are too rich in animal fat, salt and preservatives? What ever we do age will gradually catch up with our body, so I believe eating right is a better investment, not only for the skin but all the other organs as well.

Your tips are helpful. For sure a lot of people will try that. And with reference to your main topic, aside from the facts that you have mentioned, eating the right kind of foods will also help to maintain a good skin. Hence, the nutrients will nourish the skin pigmentation. And not to discount, having a good and sound sleep. Since, sleeping makes our skin looks younger and softer. As this moisturize our skin pigments.

This is interesting. I usually use my hands and fingertips to wash my face. I had not heard of this other information before. Is the skin expert a dermatologist as well? Thanks for sharing.

I've never really heard of cleansing oil. Is it really oil? If so, is that really good for acne prone skin?

One misconception is that when we have acne prone skin we should stay away from oil. But don't you know that we still need moisturizer to balance our skin? That's why i replied that you should look for a cleansing oil that is for oily skin too. There are many kinds and choose non comedogenic.

I knew that moisture was important for oily skin. One reason is because if your skin is dry it will produce even more oil - exacerbating the problem. But, I wasn't sure about oil based products. So, an cleansing oil for oily skin - thanks for the tip :)

If you don't want to use soap anymore then cleansing oil is an alternative. It can remove all kinds of dirt in our skin.

hitoniganzon to begin with for healthy skin you need to start from the inside and eat allyour fruits and veggies , and be sure to havde a rainbow of colors of fruits and veggies as those colors have added nutrients that enhance healgthy skin. to cleanse my face as ite allergit to oily stuff I use noxema by covering my face with it then washing it off gently with warm water. It leaves myface smooth, clean and not irritated by some oily crap.

for the healthy skin one most important thing is to avoid using chemical based products. Every one should go for natural chemical free products. you can try tathaastu products they are based on pure essential oils and do not contian any kind of chemical. even preservative they are not using in their products. for oily and acne prone skin you can try Tathaastu neem face wash. and after that you can apply tathaastu toner for oily and acne prone skin. As a lash step you apply a moisturiser for oily/acne skin. with tea tree essential oil blended. you can buy online line aas well this natural and pure product on tathaastu.co.in

Cleansing oil can help more in removing the dirt and make up from your face than just using a facial scrub and a toner. And toner would require using a cotton and cotton is harmful since it leaves materials that can block and enlarge our pores. But it's your choice!

Probably this can be true. I remember my aunt using oil thru rubbing to some part of her body such as knees, neck, nape and arms before she takes a shower. She believes that oil can remove dirt so she does it to her whole body usually 15 minutes before taking a bath. She got it from her mom who is a Chinese.

That's good to hear. Its a new information for me. ;)Tips for healthier skin though is that you hydrate yourself. Take 8 or more glasses of water. Try to get a sleep because it when we sleep, the cells in the body tend to generate. For the face, I use the cleanser, the toner and a moisturiser. And when you put make up on, try to clean after going to bed. And yeah, I think I heard about that soap thing. ; My mom uses a flannel or a sponge on skin rather than the soap itself.
