i used to work in a company that has its own well more like a YM chat. We also have status there, and i used you're my heroine as my status. I was so shocked when my boss asked me to change my status saying clients might read it and that will get me in a big trouble. He even told me that there's this agent who used a foul language as a status and was kicked out of the account. I was like, you' re my heroine... where's the foul language there? i didnt spell it out as HEROIN which a drug i know... but then what i did is i just changed my status so as not to have any problem with my boss..
you think i should let him know the meaning of the word when E is added at the end? or would you agree with what ive done?

Well, it's not worth having an argument with your boss over something so small, so I think it's better that you just changed your status.
On the other hand, I don't understand what your boss was thinking... these small things are in fact good for business, they give a more personal touch to the discussions with your clients, sometimes they can lead to a joke or some small talk to lighten up the business discussions.

thanks nowayro for sharing, but honestly at first i really thought of sending him the meaning of heroine! is like a hero but only a woman! LOL but yes youre right its one way of having rapport with the customer when they saw your status..my status shouldve been a very good discussion to have rapport with the clients! happy mylotting!
