that sounds... interesting, but with my food allergies, I do my best to not eat more than one meat at a time - otherwise I wouldn't be able to eat any meat the next few days

I don't care for Asian food.

I am living in Asia. I love Indian food, never tried Pakistani food. I love most Asian dishes though, so I sure would love to give it a try sometime. It sounds absolutely delicious!

Honestly I haven't tried all that many different kinds! I don't eat meat or fish, though, so that narrows down my ability to try new foods. I've tried vietnamese and chinese foods, though, such as fried rice, egg foo yung (SP), chow mein, and so on, and those are all delicious! I am a particular freak about vegetable egg rolls and cream cheese won tons..Oh they are all SO good! I could stuff myself fat with that kind of food. But I haven't tried Japanese food, which is something I would like to try (although again I don't eat fish, and I think a lot of the Japanese diet is made up of fish). Hmmm. Good discussion! Oh and P.S. you're right! I didn't know what Biryani was until now. We don't have very many Indian restaurants around here... If we did, I MIGHT know what you're talking about! LOL

Hi Tushavi, Well, i love Asian food but in my country Biryani is too common...so i don't like it too much...we cook it on special occasions to share joys and happiness. I prefer Curry than biryani because i don't like dry food too much.

yeah i love veg biryani and non vegs yet too try..and damn i never knew indians are asian as well ^^' damn damn my g.k sucks

My husband really loves to cook, and he cooks a lot of food from China, and Viet Nam, and some from India. He's an American, has no Asian background, we just like the food, and so that is what he cooks. There is an Asian market just down the street from us, and he shops there a lot. My cousin's husband is from China, and his family used to own the market.

I am Indian and we too have Biryani occasionally..but we are veg...so we use veggies instead of chicken or mutton.....

Biryani sounds delicious! Yes, I like all sorts of Asian food as long as it's not sushi. I like authentic Asian food, not the kind they serve in the restaurants here--full of sugar and salt and stuff, it's delicious but so bad for you. If you look at the workers in Asian restaurants taking their lunch break, they're not eating the stuff they serve Americans--they are eating a lot of vegetables, a little meat and some rice, all seasoned naturally. I like that type of Asian food!

I like all kinds of foods and have gone several times to Asian restaurants and loved the food. I like exploring and am a bit of an adventurer. I will try almost anything at least ones.

I am from the United States, so the only Asian foods that I've ever had the opportunity to eat have been versions of Asian food that has been Americanized. That said, I still do love to enjoy meals of Asian food. I am partial to Chinese style foods because they are more readily available for us. However, I've also eaten Japanese and also Indian food and enjoyed both of them a lot as well. I really do like to eat all different kinds of food.

Yes, I love Asian food, especially chinese food. I too like indian food as well and Briyani is one of it. The others are the likes of roti prate and mee goreng.
