How was your thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, family came to visit, and we went out later that night to do a bit of Christmas shopping. Glad yours was good! Take care! :)

Because I left for out of town until December 23 rd we had our Thanksgiving a whole week early. It was such a special one as we, my kids and I find that we are so Thankful not just on Thanksgiving. I had such a tough year, and although not out of the woods, I find that this Thanksgiving was truly special. As I had a chance to celebrate with the kids and then on Thanksgiving day, my boyfriend and I went to a really great restaurant and stuffed ourselves just like the turkeys. We later when back home and chilled in front of the TV as if we did not have a care in the world. I was able to reflect on how my year got started off to such a bad start, all the while being grateful and thankful to God that I have made it this far. Especially knowing no matter how difficult it has been that my boyfriend and children have stood beside me. After this year I do not believe I will allow myself to ever be ungrateful, as sometimes we need to go through some really hard times to finally realize that our lives are not so bad as we think. This I owe to God and my boyfriend as well as he has told me from day one that he will always be there no matter what and that I needed to learn to live day by accepting things that I cannot change, and for that I do believe that he is right and and try never to look back unless I need a reminder.
