I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I've seen total lunar eclipses two or three times. That's when the Earth passes between the Moon and the Sun. The shadow of the Earth falls across the Moon, and the Sun's light gets filtered through the Earth's atmosphere, so what little light falls on the Moon's surface is turned red. It's a nice effect, and a more common phenomenon than total solar eclipses.

Yes.i have ever seen the moon red. It was around 6 A.M in the morning. It was before i was going out for work when i noticed something is shining in the sky. When i looked up, to my surprise i noticed the moon was red. Don't know why is this so but its very pleasing to admire.

I have lived on the praires of Idaho and up into the mountians where dust in the air makes it possible to see the red moon and some times the fog from the swamps of florida will turn it a pale green color but the most eirest view of the moon comes on those night when it is so cold that the clouds thin out and they slowly travel across her face like you see in the old monster shows of the fifties
