listening to christmas songs

when is the earliest time of the year that you have heard a christmas song? my mother loves christmas songs that she plays them even when it's not christmas, so sometimes even in the summer, we would have it playing all over the house. she's kinda weird that way :) but hey, if it makes her happy, right? but usually here in the philippines, you start hearing christmas songs when september hits. you know when the 'ber' months start. so how about you when do you start playing christmas carols? do you ever hear christmas songs during the non-christmas season?
