metacafe pays you for uploading videos.has any one tried that?
do they really pay? it would be fun getting paid just by uploading videos.dont you think?

Metacafe does not pay you to upload videos and never has done. There was a publisher rewards program which paid per 1000 views (and the views had to be from the US) but that was apparently discontinued in 2009. Metacafe exists to encourage small film makers and does not accept duplicates, films which are not the copyright of the owner or, of course, films of a certain nature. It is not, as far as I can see, the kind of place where anyone can upload videos which they have not made themselves.

Thanks for your responses. After reading the creator's Comment I had opened Metacafe and I was about to join but I saw your this response. Thanks for sharing the Information.

That does sound like it would be a fun site to join. I have never heard of it though but I have heard of paid2youtube and I really never got into that but this sounds like fun. I hope that you have some luck with it and I think I will be dropping by the site right now to see what it is about and maybe joining too.
