I should see it coming. Even though I try to hide it from my mom, but she still going to find out. Besides, I spend almost $500 for the HDTV yesterday, I didn't tell my mom about I spend another $500 for a new laptop computer. Instead, I hide it in the trunk, and until midnight, I took it out and test it. This morning, my mom found out about it, and nagging on me all morning. I understood that she wants me to save my money and prepare for the unexpected. What is done is done. I would say that I would be care with my money next time then.

Frankly you are wreckless buyer. Spending to much money on just a day. Your mom is right. You should be careful. I hope the money you spend is your own money. If I was you I will think 100x before I will buy something.

My parents also nag whenever I receive a package from DHL or Fedex. They know it usually means that I have spent a lot of money on my camera. After receiving the package I always get a long lecture about me spending a lot on my camera. Anyway I believe that I should also enjoy the fruits of my labor. Although I have some savings I also need to spend some money for my enjoyment.

what your mom says is good in one sense but what you have done is too too much. buying a laptop and hidingthere is no wrong in your mom nagging at you.... you must have informed her before you have purchased. its not seeking permission from her to buy the laptop, because you r confident in buying it. its a way of informing it....just for fun "parker" dont take it seriously... have a nice day
