In recent newspaper, I found an article about the report of Wi-Fi and it's radiation from Holland. In the initial research, the radiation from the Wi-Fi wireless network can cause the trees' skin cracked and the leaves dried and died. The nearer of the plants to the Wi-Fi transmitter, the more effect of the radiation to the plants' skin and their leaves to be cracked, dried and died. Significantly, it's radiation might be harmful to human-being. Later, the research found out that the radiation from Wi-Fi made the corns grown faster. About the harmfulness to human-beings' health, the research has not concluded it yet. This is the initial result from the research by the Holland government. Do anyone of you realize the radiation of Wi-Fi at our home of office? Do you believe in it ? What will be your prevention steps to this radiation?

Hi, This is not known and not heard of it.Thank you for the information, I should check as my receiver is placed on a wall mount near to plants at my home. But there is no big change and the plants are looking healthy. How long did it take to effect the plants and leaves is to be known. Any way being green planet aspire, I think it is better to shift the plants pots to a far place form the receiver box. What do you say ? Thank you Calpro

ha! ha! ha! This is a good news from you. From now, we can stop so sensitive to this Wi-Fi radiation. Before reading the articles, I were not concerning the radiation of Wi-Fi at all. Although most of the wireless frequencies might be harmful to the human-beings, but the effect will not be so obvious as what I have read in such a short period. Similar to the mobile phone, there aren't any conclusion yet for causing the brain cancer and the tumour. In the America, three persons passed away because of the brain cancer, had the habit of using the mobile phone for most of the days in long hours. There wasn't any strong evidence to conclude that their brain cancers were caused by the mobile phone. This was what I read in the IEEE magazine.

One thing i learn about mobile phone is that the frequency they use is on the same range on the microwave oven. Microwave oven frequency cooked the food because of the confinement of the process whereas the mobile phone is scattered.Ever notice that the longer you use the mobile the hotter your ear felt compared w/ the telephone. We know they affect us a little but it just too minimal, one thing i suggest keep don't let pregnant woman use it much.

My internet connection is via Wi-Fi and i have been using it for nearly a year and matter of fact my house is surrounded w/ trees and even the antenna is rigged on a tree. I went out and observe the effects you've written but found it inconclusive. The trees are fine even the tree where my antenna was anchored shows no sign of that effect.

Great! There isn't any thing wrong there. But this is exactly what I have read in the local newspaper. I am using the Wi-Fi too. This is just to avoid the massive wiring. Since there isn't anything wrong at your place, I feel better to use the Wi-Fi here.

omg!! are you serious, i have heard that radiations from laptop and mobile phones are harmful, but this thing is entirely new. I mean, how can this be harmful to plants and all. Hmmm... i guess our ages are going to get reduced rapidly.. :(( Those who ware born in this computer era have to take some effective steps i guess :(

I have also not heard about it before. After thinking for a while, it might be logically true too. The transmitter of the Wi-Fi might be the same as the transmitter of our mobile phone. There were many research about the radiation of mobile phone with the brain cancer and tumour.

I have never given it much thought as I have never really heard this before. But I have to say that everything in life seems to be killing us, or least that is what the reports say every time I tune in. Sometimes I feel that the air we breathe daily will be considered as well to hazardous. But thanks for the information, as I have wifi most of the time and maybe it is something I should be looking in to.

I don't have much info about wi-fi. I often use it when I am at the mall or when I go to some resto-bars. It is the internet I use to access my favorite sites using my cellphone when I am away from my computer. About radiations, I think it is already a common knowledge for everybody that indeed it is harmful to the body. Radiations from Ultra sound can be harmful to the baby when it is done without precautions or malpractice of the operator. Radiation also creates damage in our living cells that would eventually get us some illnesses that could no longer be healed. Over exposure in radiations can also cause damages on skin.

In such advance technology nowadays, we can not totally avoid the radiation in our daily living. What I can just say, our living habit and the luck are the main factors to our sickness.

I found this always untrue. It's just another way for newspapers to make really big news, but it isn't. Do you think that someone would just set up an Wi-Fi Point in the woods and that the trees would die? I don't think so. Also, it shouldn't be harmful for humans, I never heared someone die or get sick because of Wireless. The only thing I saw was that just one person was allergic to Wi-Fi radiations.

I have not heard about it too. By logical sense, the transmitter of Wi-Fi is the same as our mobile phone. However, I am so worry after reading this news in our local newspaper. If possible, I prefer to have a home with fully isolated. No external frequency can reach my home so that I can feel healthier. I am sure my life can last for another 50 years.
