why 2 parts now

The main reason that the movie is split into two parts is to please the fans and to cover the material of the final book. This is the last installment of the Potter film and everything in the plot should be answered as the book did. However it is not easy to cram everything into a film. There will be scenes that will be deleted and most fans, seeing as it is the last one, will not appreciate shortcuts or any lost moments. If it was going to be in a single film, the movie duration will be longer than the average cinemas and there are people who don't like to sit for hours just to watch the plot unfold. A single Potter film is also not good in terms of movie revenues. I think that the film is split into two so that there will be more earnings from the two films. It is a strategic measure to have the first film as a cliffhanger so that more fans will eagerly wait and watch the second film. Basically, the first film is just a taste of what can happen. This is exploited by the production company since they know there are hordes of Potter fans worldwide. In a way, it's a last ditch effort to pull some revenues and tell an epic story at the same time.

I havnt watched the movie yet, but they did say that Harry Potter and the deadly hallows was always going to be in two parts, and i guess i can see why. If you have read the book, then you may come to an understanding that it may be a tad difficult to do the whole thing in one movie unless you wanted it to cut out a lot of the details.

i don't care if its in 2 parts or 3 parts, i just enjoying to watch it...

yes the movie is said to be the last one but i dont understand what is this two parts

it's the sensation of the end. finail sequence of harry potter must be the best ever than the past chapter. i guess that was divided into two parts because the story line is very long and complicated. so, we need to divided it into 2 to enjoy it more. ^_^

Maybe they want us to imagine the scene of the end of the movie
