Ok so a couple of months ago, I bought & installed kaspersky pure on my computer...I am a member of 20dollars2surf which as some would know is an advertisement type bar at the bottom of your computer screen which earns you money...anyway, since I installed my anti-virus, my 20dollars2surf bar has not worked properly..I know there is a way I can tell my anti-virus that it is safe but I can't remember how to (short of uninstalling then reinstalling)...can anyone help me out with this one?

Add it as an exceptions in the antivirus configuration. There you can tell it the location of the executable of the spyware that you want to run, and Kaspersky will not complain.
Anyway, if it's reporting a menace, you should consider taking a measure on it.
Question, what does exactly tells Kaspersky to you about this program?

Kaspersky doesn't tell me anything about the program...it's just since I installed kaspersky, I get an error whenever I try to access my surf bar.

I also registered with 25dollars2surf. But when i am about to start, I noticed there is a program that I need to install to my computer so I aborted. I don't want something being installed to my computer just to make money. They usually cause trouble than good.

I can understand that...so far, I haven't had any problems with the surfbar giving me any viruses & neither have my friends that I know that have it...but everyone has their own preference.

moonchild1au,
You may consider uninstalling and reinstalling your 20dollars2surf bar than your anti virus program.
I believe this is much easier and your anti virus will prompt you to customize and accept the toolbar when it detects the installation. I am advocating this as you are aware that the toolbar is actually not functioning properly as opposed to your anti virus program.
Hope this will be of help to you. Have a nice day.

This is what I was dreading...I didn't want to have to do this but I think you may be right.

until i know anti virus don't block the program its firewall which blocks the programs.
make it exceptional in the firewall and it would run as usual. if the kaspersky won't allow you then think twice before you do it, even my avast as warn me while installing it.

It just seems that since I installed my anti-virus...I got an error message every time I open up my anti-virus...I will have a look in the firewall.

I think you should not use this 20dollar2surf as it may lead to a system crash. But if you need to use it anyway then just keep back-up of all your important data and then use this by going in options when the safety message appears.
Alernately you may use some other anti-virus to cross check this site.
Hope this helps!

I never had a system crash before I installed my new anti-virus & now the only way I can run my surf bar is by turning off my anti-virus which I don't really want to do.
