I recently made some crochet items, headband, skirt, bag and others....I am thinking for some present to my family this Christmas, Is it okey to give them the crochet i items i made? I'm not sure too, I am afraid that they may laugh at me because its not really fine made, it's like a handicrafts output of a beginner. What do you think? I love Christmas, and always give present to my love ones and friends...Advance Merry Christmas to all who celebrates Christmas...thank you...

Happy Holidays to you as well and Merry Christmas, as before we know it it will be upon us. I believe that would be a lovely gift to give. I would also suggest making a scarf, though I suppose if your country does not get cold, it would look kind of silly, but that would be a lovely gift to make as well.
Best of luck to you.

Hi,speedytypist!
I think it is a great idea. The most important feature of gifts is that they contain your thankfulness for your loved ones, right? And I do this all the time.I'm not a good craftsman, either. But I want them to know that I love them very much and sometimes money or something we buy in stores are not precious enough.Handicrafts, however, are very special. When they look at these handicrafts, they know exactly who sent these to them.
So don't worry about the quality of your handicrafts. It is your kindly feelings that really counts.
Have a nice day!

I think that they would make amazing gifts! Something homemade and adorable would be much better than something expensive bought from the store. I've noticed, from experience, that whenever I make something for others, they like it much more than when I buy them gifts from stores.
I make crafts for my family every year as their Christmas gifts. When December hits, I take out my crochet hook and my knitting needles. I make socks, scarves, hats, gloves, for them. They make great gifts, especially in the wintery coldness in St. Louis.

I think they make great presents! If you are not sure if your handmade items are enough for a present, why not give one of the things you made AND some other small present? That way everyone will be happy, even if they do not appreciate the stuff you made. But I honestly think most people will appreciate these things!

I hope that you gave some of your homemade gifts out and that the receipients liked them. I always enjoy homemade gifts and I think that most people realize that a lot of love goes into those gifts.

It's the thoughts that always count pal. It doesn't matter if it is handmade. You didn't magic it. You work hard on it and it would be appreciated by your family. I am sure of that! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
