I can't say that I really have a favorite anymore. I had a beagle and a maltese that passed away last winter. I like the look of a sharpay, but I really like the disposition of a pitbull. The ones that I have owned weren't aggressive and very loveable.

It depends on the way you threat them . If you take care of their needs and feed them , walk them and socialize them I think no dogs will become aggressive .But if you have a attached to a pole guard dog , it will surely make it more aggressive and dangerous . I hope you overcome your loss and get a new lovable puppy to bark and bite you with its little teeth.

I have over come the loss. I figure it just as easy to go visit the neighbors dogs. I like the freedom I have now that the kids are grown and the pets are gone. I do miss my dogs, but so don't want anymore.

Hi Mustread, Welcome to myLot :) Personally I love labradors but I love all dogs and most animals so difficult question to answer. My last dog was a collie and I loved him to bits but hard work needed miles and miles of exercise everyday luckily I have a 2 mile long beach just down the road lol.
