hi friends.the simple reason why i didn't include the T20 squad has a valid reason.ever since the memorable t20 victory in south africa, team india's T20 performamce is worse than other nations.
anyway to the original topic.
dont get fooled by the ranking because more than 75 percent of population dont understand how it works.
sure india is number 1 in test and second in ODI but dont look at that.
think of how strong the batsmen are and how valuable the bowlers are.
the conditions and the oppositions.
the mindset.
which has more confidence of coming back from a trail of 0-1?
stuffs like that.

Our Indian Test team deserved to get the Number 1 spot, because there are 4 big walls to protect our team (Gambir, Laxman, Dravid and 10dulkar). However, ODI team is out of form. Yuvraj especially..

I think both team are very good. It is always great to have separate team for test and also for ODI. It is always great to have experienced players in the test team. I think Raina should be given a break and Pujara should be picked for the Southafrican series. I like the performance of Virat Kohli in the ODI team. I think India need some very good fast bowlers in the team both in the test team and also in the ODI team.

Both Indian team outfit is stronger. Test team and ODI team. Indians are not performing at T20 due to some or the other reason due to lack of confidence. I strongly believe India is the best team.

First of all let me agree that I never really understood how exactly this ranking thing works. I asked so many people and no-one could answer it.
Its very difficult to compare Test Team and ODI team. Because of the format of the games. Test matches really check the patience and mindset.
Indian test sides is still dependent on its key players like Laxman, Sachin, Dravid and Sehwag(Obviously supported by other team-members). If we look at the last few matches, most of them are won by a steady performance of one of the four players. But the same is not case in ODI, we can win the matches without these players as well. I think that is the plus point for ODI team. India has enough bench strength, that everyone knows that he has to perform else someone-else might the opportunity.
So from this point, I think ODI team is stronger than Test team.
