a great 40run win in the first one day against kiwis has created yet another successful captain gauti for us. a well start from the top orders with kholi smashing his fourth ton gave a good lead and defensive target. the poor performance from middle orders and inexperienced batting by tail enders restricted the target not exceeding 300+. at last its a comprehensive win for india with spin attack aswin and sreesanth bagging 3wkts each. lets hope this victory continues and grab the series...

ya india won the match with the consistent performance from virat kholi. but i dont rate gautis captaincy at this point. he should win the series and prove that he is a good captain.

Yeah, Indian team deserved the victory. The way Indian were playing especially Virat Kohli, it looked Indians would have easily crossed 300+. But again the batting collapsed and were all down for 276. Yuvraj made his presence feel both with bat and bowl. 3 for 43 is good. Last few overs really made me tense when 41 runs were needed from 29 bowls with Nathan McCullum (35) and Millis still on crease looking dangerous. But finally sreesant came to rescue getting these two players in two successive deliveries. And Virat Kohli very well deserved the Man of the Match. Hope India wins the series :)
